So you are saying your mesh is getting mashed? Yeah, you gotta play on normal speed for now my friend. There are some blocking issues on slow and very slow that the dev team is looking into fixing. I would also advise setting your speed threshold to 25 as well, but that's up to you. Good luck.

Re: Anyone find any semblance of a running game yet?
This is 100% right. I stopped holding turbo until I got in the open field and I actually just busted off a 48 yard TD with Fournette. By far my longest run so far in this years game. It also seems like your skill moves work alot better if you havent hit turbo yet. I'm breaking alot of tackles with CPU tackle at 40. Might have to go back up to 50. Great advice though. And thank you.Comment

It seems its only real use is in the open field on a breakaway.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: Anyone find any semblance of a running game yet?
Yeah I agree. Honestly I feel like when I hit turbo especially with my receivers on run after catch it actually feels like it slows my guy down. I have almost stopped using turbo completely this year for the first time ever. It's a hard habit to break but absolutely necessary this yearComment

Someone with the game should open up a offense only practice and test this by timing yardage runs with and without turboComment

Re: Anyone find any semblance of a running game yet?
If someone wants to do it I'm all for seeing the results. It could be a placebo because the defender gets an ungodly speed burst when I hit turbo and always catches me from behindComment

Re: Anyone find any semblance of a running game yet?
Well, first game tonight with game speed set to normal, and after my light bulb moment last night figuring out the one cut stuff, and adjusting the speed threshold slider a bit. Really opened things up for me. Just put a 38-3 beat down on the Lions as Miami...
Drake 26 carries, 162 yards
Gore 5 carries, 25 yards
Tannehill 1 for 11 yards.
I'll try another game or two at these settings for sample size, but I'll be lowering the run block slider to get my numbers back in check a bit.
CPU run game was still nothing too great... They ran 16 times, for 43 yards on me.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

Re: Anyone find any semblance of a running game yet?
Another run game update... definitely getting acclimated to it. Definitely thinking I need to lower the human run block slider. Think I'll play a 3rd game though to make sure. Stats are a bit skewed in this one by two big runs I ripped off with Gore while Drake was injured.
Drake...10 for 45 yards
Gore... 15 for 153 yards and 2 TD's.. Longest run of 48 yards, and another of 28.
CPU though.. 46 yards, on 21 carries.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

Re: Anyone find any semblance of a running game yet?
I strongly recommend playing a full season in cfm or playing against every team once before changing anything from default.
Between the new ratings and mechanics it took getting used to before I could judge if something went wrong.

Re: Anyone find any semblance of a running game yet?
I am honestly glad for the people who aren't having any problems with the running game. I am not one of them. I'm almost at the end of my 10 hour trial and I won't be buying it when it ends. I rage quit every single time I try to play the game. Every run I call gets blown up in the backfield either by backside pursuit or a D-lineman blowing up the O-line. I don't even put my finger on the turbo button in the hopes that everyone who says that's the cause will be right. I've tried "feathering" the stick. I make sure the hat count is in my favor. I mix up my play calls. But I know if I try to call an inside run on 3rd and 1 there's not a chance I won't lose 3 yards. Even if it's called in a 3-Wide set with the defense in dime with 2 down linemen. One of them will make the play. I've tried lowering sliders, raising sliders, lowering difficulty, lowering speed, raising speed. I've tried playing with Dallas even tho I hate them. Invariably my number one RB will be at about 17 yards on 9 carries by halftime because I have to throw so much. I'm worried that if I do buy it eventually I will throw my controller through my TV like I've come close to doing already. I just have to let it go. Again, I'm glad for everyone who has figured it out. I wish I could."Boston's tenth man could not be wrong

They'd sing another victory song"

Re: Anyone find any semblance of a running game yet?
I have had no issues running the ball on all pro. I noticed that you have to not choose a direction to run in until the blocks have been set and then you can go full tilt without using speed boost. Broke off some nice runs with Jerrick McKinnon. Use speed boost once you get to the open field by feathering the button.
