I have been able to stop the run with no legend LBs just 2 DEs or 2DT's

Most of them will be easy to stop but Earl and Barry sanders will be the tough one because it requires gang tackling to take them down. They usually break their first tackles.

In the guide it will teach you how to use the Support technique which focuses on gang tackling.

Illustrator, I was curious about that comment. Is there some talk of 2K addressing certain issues regarding the defense?

LOL, you were thinking the same thing I was when I read that. Where is he getting this information ? I have not heard or seen anything about the 2K devs talking about addressing issues with the defense.

If they have they need to direct them to hot routes and play flips and fronts. The run D is fine.

The difference between you and I HotShot232, is that I don't doubt you have no issues at all, like you say. What you are doing, in effect, is calling those who experience these issues liars. It's got to work both ways if you want your opinion respected.

I'm not going to sit you down in a chair and give you an exotic post like you enjoy the ones coming from LB. Not going to happen. I have my own kids to worry about.

Hey DA_Kenny, the issue wasn't trying to stop the run, but rather bring out the point that the running game is overpowered. Adding to that, the defense is soft. The requests here are simply stating that we wish there was a balance between the power of the offense has and the power the defense has. Nothing more, nothing less.

OK since this thread is about the SOFT DEFENSE....I believe it was Burn that made a comment that only 2 or 3 of us idiots thought defense was balanced. So I went back through entire thread and wrote down the names between the two groups.

the other 95% of the posters regconize there is a problem with overpowered runningbacks. The others blindly defend the game or treat the other posters like idiots who don't know how to play defense.

If the running game is overpowered then all RBs would have 10yards a carry per game.

But there are only like 2 Rbs that can do that.

I think it is balanced.
