Interesting, wonder if Take2 was trying to fire up the investors.

Who knows. Nothing is confirmed or dispelled at this point. All we can do is wait for E3 and we will know then.

I mean if they haven't said anything publicly about it by now I would assume nothing will be said til E3. Just my opinion.

Twitch has posted their broadcast schedule for E3. Multiple unannounced games will be shown or talked about on-air. NFL 2k won't be one of them. This isn't a confirmation that the rumor is false, of course. Just more information to consider.

Isn't there more games announced on TV compared to what is shown online? Could be saved for it being on TV. I know I'll watch what's being shown on TV but you bring up a good point about it not being listed of "Unannounced(2K)" anywhere which would have ramped up the rumor more. So if it's a big secret then 2K is really doing a good job at preventing leaks.

I just couldn't imagine them keeping this on the DL with no leaks. Especially in this day and age with all the internet and gaming websites. I just can't see them being able to keep this a secret with no leaks.

Absolutely, and especially with the necessity of facial scanning and everything. One player would have mentioned something to someone, and it would have ended up on twitter.

The only thing I can imagine is an announcement that they have acquired the license, and intend to put out an NFL game for the next cycle, or the one after that.

Exactly, no way they keep a lid on this unless you consider the rumor the leak.. I dont think we'll see 2K making a return..

Unless it's just some arcade game that gets a token mention at the MS or Sony pressers or a teaser for a 2015 release.

Probably one of the best points yet.

I don't think we're getting anything but Madden this year. We've seen this kind of hype from rumors before, and though I REALLY want it, it doesn't seem likely.

Has anyone reached out to a 2k dev on twitter? I think f the question is asked, no way they say yes, but if it's no, they'd probably say no considering they haven't made an nfl game in 10 years.

I wouldn't mind no facial scans year one. Just give me a good franchise and gameplay and work on that next year.

But either way, like I said and I agree with you it would've been on twitter by now.

Looks like SCEA has 2 unannounced titles and EA has one. Could it be SCEA that shocks everyone with a football game and EA possibly bringing back MVP?

I did notice that and you bring up a good point. Everyone here keeps talking about 2K because they have already made a game in the past. Yet nobody seems to think that someone other than 2K could make it. Just maybe all this speculating is for nothing because Sony is going to make a NFL game.

I have played The Show and I have thought at some point what a NFL game would be like from them but like most always thought if anyone else would make a NFL licensed game, it would always be 2K.

That is something to think about, that's for sure.

FROM GAMERADAR: The Rumor: Titanfall is Xbox One’s biggest exclusive so far, but now that has arrived, Microsoft has apparently set its sights on it’s next third-party system seller. Apparently, the platform holder has 'secured' a new ‘big third-party title’, and could be ready to make a splash at E3. That’s word from an apparently noteworthy games industry whistleblower known as Ahsan Rasheed, or 'thuway'. Our Take: We can’t vouch for the source, but Microsoft is most aggressive in its pursuit of third-party platform exclusives, and no one should be surprised that Titanfall isn’t the only big deal it had lined up for Xbox One. And while the list of rumored games for Sony’s E3 press show is long and ominous, Microsoft’s E3 plans are certainly more of a mystery. Let’s hope it has some truly huge surprises in store.
