I think at this point the entire preseason could be lost. We have to wait a week to see if the NFLPA reforms and votes on the new CBA.

Well the Raiders CEO had this to say on why they didn't vote:

I ge thte feelling more owners aren't really all that happy with it. Even John Clayton speculated that the vote was at best 29-3 before the number was known.
The Raiders always vote no or refuse to vote on CBAs though.

Just draft a settlement and give it to the damn players, already. This is ****ing stupid. I'm getting so sick of this.

Owners, give them the proposal now and let them vote. Honestly, I don't care if they vote it down, they should at least have the settlement to vote on. Christ, this is amateur bull**** from the owners.

If it's any consolation, I have agreed to ratify the proposed deal. So now, that 31 owners and 1 OS moderator.

                      Re: Official CBA Thread

The problem may not be with the CBA, but with the Union. I've heard some talk that there may be some players who don't see any value in the Union and don't want to keep paying Smith lots of money. If they don't recertify, then there can't be a CBA. I can't believe that Smith wouldn't know what the owners were voting on and if it was different, then I'm sure he would have told anyone who would listen that the owners were changing things.

Can you forward the deal to the players?

I faxed it, added a stipulation that the 2nd quarter must be for free tacos.

                          We'll see what they say.

I feel like you could have gotten free nacho's and drink as well.

                            No deal.

Nachos with BEEF and cheese? Or just cheese?

No beef and I walk. It's that simple.

We've seen that both of these sides kinda hate giving too much, so we may need to settle for just cheese.
