This conspiracy theory crap needs to stop. "Certain teams will always get help." Yeah, the Pats certainly got helped when they got screwed on that no-call when Gronkowski was getting bear hugged and dragged backwards in the end zone.

As for this game, yes, that was a terrible PI call, but the Refs also missed several instances where Pats receivers were getting held. Does that excuse the PI call? No, of course not, but for people to claim that this is the refs doing what they always do to help certain teams is laughable. The refs are human, thus they make mistakes. Sometimes terrible mistakes. And this season it seems especially bad, but there is no conspiracy to help the Pats or other teams.

It's called making money at Vegas. That's what the NFL is all about making money and that's it. They limit their lawsuits for them to lose money (concussion rules), donate just over the bare minimum to cancer help (like a whopping 3.5% or something like that). NFL gets games when they are close, try to influence them so they get more money. Giving the Pats the win here keeps it equal, so it's not always them winning, to make it look less suspicious. It wasn't even close to a PI call.

Patriots get all the calls. Patriots fans are insecure(not sure where that comes from, but it has been mentioned)? Patriots fans can't express a feeling about anything (without being met with some bull from somebody).

Because losing who could be the best TE in football isn't a big deal right, right? But we get all the calls, so expressing any feeling about that isn't allowed without being confronted by the usual suspects.

Keep on hating. I personally love it. Excellence brings hatred. Would much rather be on this end.

But we get all the calls. So I have no reason to even speak my mind.

I missed the Patriots game, did the refs completely take over a game with another morbidly ridiculous call/no call that essentially ****ed one team in the *** while putting the other in a great spot to win the game? Wow, im so surprised.

Anyone who believes any of that vegas/fixed games/favored team stuff should read Peter King's week with Seratore and his crew.

The MMQB went behind the scenes with NFL referee Gene Steratore and his crew for an unprecedented look at the pressures and responsibilities of the third team on the field on NFL Sundays: the seven men in stripes who enforce the rules. In Part I, we meet—and agonize with—the boss

Matt Prater with the longest FG in NFL history?

Also, Manning threw 37 passes in the first half. It's safe to say that the Broncos want him to have the TD record.

                    In 16 degree weather, impressive.

Yeah, people always love to hate on teams that receive a lot of national media. All out of jealousy. All you can do is embrace the hatred and have fun with it.

                        Hah. Jealousy.

It's ignorance like this that fuels hated, not the media. Thanks for the laugh.

So explain to me where the hatred comes from? What reason would anyone have to hate a team that isn't a rival of the team they root for.

Ignorance and general attitude of the majority/public face of their fanbase? People don't hate the teams, they hate the fans and want to see them lose for those fans.

I don't even hate the Bears, Lions and Vikings. There are NFL teams I absolutely cannot stand though, but those 3 aren't close to that group.

Perhaps sometimes, hatred is not always received solely due to team success.
