    Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread

Now he wants to see what other teams want to bring him in? Really? I think it's becoming very clear that this is about the money. I'm starting to become very leary of what Denver is going to have to offer up to bring him here. If Calvin Johnson just got 60 million guaranteed, can you image what Manning will get? I can easily see 100+ million over four years, and they may have to guarantee all of it.

Manning is essentially holding all of the teams hostage that are interested in him.

Meriweather signed with the Redskins. That doesn't bother me. I wonder if it just wasn't a good match in Denver, or if the Broncos simply weren't willing to pay him what he wanted.

Not a fan of Meriweather anyways so I am ok with that.

Manning said he's open to other teams inquiring, not that he specifically wants to visit other teams.

                    Damn, didn't see that.

I'm not too concerned, I don't know what other teams would at this point anyway unless it's a complete darkhorse.

Neither am I, and why would a team want to jump in late, have zero real chance, and upset their current QB situation?

To me, its become more apparent that this is more about money than winning. When someone tells me "its not about the money", that usually means it is about the money. Bowlen made it pretty clear that Super Bowls are expected and anything less is unacceptable. This isn't a floundering franchise despite some rough records, the fan base remains hungry for winning and isn't thinning or thinned out.

It seems like one offer is more geared for his career after football than anything else and if thats what he wants, thats fine by me but stop wasting the other 3 teams' times.

The more I think about it, the more I get annoyed with him rather than stay neutral like I've always been

Denver has a great fan base.

Anyone who's opinion matters, or has a functioning brain can separate the Tebow maniacs from the true, blue Bronco fans.

If they can't, then they are just blind idiots.

Wow...this is so surreal. Peyton Manning is the QB for the Denver Broncos.

It's also being reported that Denver will try to trade Tebow. No surprise there.

The Denver Broncos are relevant again.

Aww yeah. It had to be Denver. Thank you, Mr. Elway. The Duke reigns supreme, goodbye Tebowmania. Broncos Country can heal now.

Tebow to Miami for one of the #3 pick that they got for Marshall?

*edit* - Guess that highly depends on whether or not Miami signs Smith.
