I guess Shaun Phillips is signed for this year and will be the other pass rusher.A little surprising but he's only 32 and didn't seem washed up yet.I really didn't think the Chargers could've afforded to just throw him aside but we'll see.I don't know what Freeney's thinking by playing hard to get.

Picked up a fast receiver and another pass rusher in the draft so it's looking like a promising draft.

Eddie Lacy has medical issues, Ball doesn't. We have two running backs whose knees have been repaired multiple times and were lost last year at a crucial time.

Elway made the right call. Lacy is no good to us if he's injured (right Knowshon?), so I'd rather a tough back who can stay healthy.

Great draft by the Broncos. They covered a lot of needs and drafted wisely.

I like the Phillips signing. He's never won anything and he's in the twilight of his career, so I think he's probably pretty hungry.

I agree, nice signing. It's nice to have a front office that makes smart decisions.

I like every pick minus two.

Keyvon Webster - Seems like some teams didn't even think of him as worth picking up as an UDFA. Major reach, IMO.

Zac Dysert - Why add another QB when we can develop Oseweiler?

Denver needed to use a late draft pick on a #3 QB. Elway liked Dysert enough after 2 predraft meetings to select him. Nothing wrong with bringing in a legitimate prospect now to learn under Manning and push Os. If Elway likes a certain QB, so do I.

Yes, Webster seems to be a reach on paper. But he is a physical, sure-tackling CB. You just never know. I believe that Denver will make CB a priority in next year's draft, and would't be surprised if they make a move at a top-tiered QB as well.

Donovan McNabb just said on NFL Network that he believes that Denver or New England is the best fit for Tebow. I can understand NE b/c of McDaniels, but Denver??? Really...Denver??? McNabb... wow...

Not every QB drafted is done so with the idea of being a starter. We're likely drafting him because he could be a solid backup for Osweiler. Elway went through his career with Kubiak backing him up, and Kubiak was drafted the same year as Elway. Better to develop the backup and groom him for the long haul.

With regard to Keyvon Webster: I heard several analysts, pre-draft, call this the "go get your guy" draft. That is, there weren't any real super stars, but the depth was great enough that if there was someone you wanted, go get him.

Sometimes you miss on picks like this. But then again, sometimes teams miss on the "sure-fire" pick as well. How many times have draft analysts given high grades to teams for picking well, and yet later we discover that those picks become busts? It's possible they saw something that really fit well with our defense. Perhaps they felt the kid just needed some time, and sitting behind DRC and Champ Bailey will really make the kid into something. And a CB that can tackle well is a huge asset in run support (e.g. Champ Bailey).

Honestly, the way this year's draft class went, I can't really complain because there weren't many of those huge impact type of prospects. The draft was just so unpredictable. Matt Barkley fell to the 4th round. From what I read, a lot of teams had very different draft boards.

I didn't see that, but it's rather funny. I think Elway would rather quit than take Tebow back.

McDaniels, Orton, Tebow.... dark times, man. Seems light years away from where we are now. The sun is shining again in Bronco Land and the shades being worn aren't orange colored.

Webster is a physical corner and a high character guy who his coaches loved. If you go over the past several drafts you'll see where several unheralded corners are working out better than many Ist rounders.Look how Chris Harris is turning out and he was undrafted.

As far as Tebow is concerned,he made a mistake by not picking Jacksonville. With what they have there at least he would've had a chance. That's a team that may as well have just did what we did for that year and see where it got them.

Jacksonville was definitely the best place for him. Khan has made it clear that he doesn't want him now. Too bad. It would have been interesting to see how that would have played out.

I find it interesting that Tebow has not made any public comments as of yet regarding his release by the Jets (or did I miss something??). Maybe it's because he wouldn't be able to contain himself from using the F Bomb in this matter. I really feel for him, but he slit his own throat if he indeed did choose NY over Jacksonville. And I agree, I would've like to have seen how he did at QB there.

I am now interested to see where he goes from here: Canada, Europe, or the Phillipinnes (mission hospital).

Funny that teams who inquired about Tebow only would trade if he agreed to play TE, and his pride made him say no. He'd rather deny that the ship is sinking at all rather than climb in a life raft.

He'll go to Canada, play for a year, then fade away there as well. People like to point out Warren Moon, Flutie, ad Warner. But honestly, those guys could throw the ball. They just needed reps. Tebow needs a miracle, and kneeling on the sidelines won't do it.

Tebow really needs to have someone willing to work with him on his short to intermediate accuracy.I don't think anyone finds it in their best interest but if he was a backup in Green Bay,for instance,he may evolve there without the fanbase going crazy. He could've done that in Denver but I think things were different even though its only been a year.He seemed to be promised more of an opportunity with the Jets that he didn't get with that disfunctional team.Sanchez is the only qb in the league that gets 9 lives.Tebow was naive for thinking it was a better opportunity than Jacksonville,he was the only one that thought that.

All that said,I really don't believe he would turn into a good passer.Teams use college influenced offenses but in these cases those athletic qbs are actually competent passers. With work he would probably be better than Sanchez and the qbs they have in Jacksonville though.

He can't evolve his game. He is what he is. I once held on to the belief that he could improve his passing, but it's just not going to happen.

I believe he's done. In a way, this is the best ending for Tebow and his supporters (ahem....Skip Bayless). As it stands right now, he has not truly been dis-proven. However, I honestly believe that if he was handed a starting QB job for an entire season, he'd wrangle up maybe four wins at the most. It would be a train wreck.

If this is the end for him, his supporters will have that magical 2011 season and his one playoff win to hang their hats on. None of them will remember how bad he was against NE to finish off the season - not to mention the game he lost at home against KC (7-3, with Orton as the opposing QB) as well as their last three regular season games when they needed a win to secure a playoff spot. The loss to the Chefs at home was the breaking point for me.

Tebow is a good guy and I wanted to see him succeed - especially as a Bronco. Now, I just wish it would all go away. I have to admit... part of me wants to see him fail miserably just to shut Skip Bayless up.
