Both look pretty close to me as well with and without my glasses.

Difference of night and day to me. The composite is very jagged and the colors are really washed out and bleeding. The component looks like, as said above, it's being played on a different system completely.

Definitely.. huge difference. It doesn't look that bad. Looks like a decent Xbox game, which isn't horrible by any means.

No, you guys are just in denial. lol.

Anyway, I'm pondering a Wii purchase if I see one again in the near future. I don't know though, after playing with the demo for a while, I could actually see myself getting tired of it pretty quick.

Those who have them, can you see you sticking it out in the long run?

Yes only for Nintendo first party games and maybe Tiger Woods Golf and hopefully Virtua Tennis.

The thing I'm most worried about though, is the fact that the "new" aspect of it will work itself off, and it'll become more of a chore to play when I'm worn out and tired, and just want to relax.

I mean, on the weekends, when it's cold outside, and I can't get out and golf, then I can see myself having a good time with it.. .but when I just want to relax, I don't know if I can see myself wanting to jump around and swing my Wii everywhere.

That's what the Virtual Console is for. I've probably spent a good 4-5 hours on Mario 64 since I got this thing a week and a half ago. I'm LOVING going back in time and remembering these great old games I uses to love.

Main reason I wanted to get a Wii.

Though, Emulators have done a great job. Of course, of games that I already own.

it's tough to play Wii Sports when you don't feel like moving, but games like Zelda and Tony Hawk and the other racing games and stuff are no different. You can just kick back and play, it's not like you have to swing the wiimote all over the place to wield your sword in Zelda, you just flick your wrist and point to the screen to use your arrows and stuff. Racing games you just hold the controller like the classic controllers and tilt. Not all are so interactive as the Wii Sports and other party games.
