I don't remember ever getting one shotted unless I messed up and left a lower level character unprotected and an enemy 6-7 levels above fought them.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
So i'm between two gams and can't decide what to get next, fire emblem or monster hunter, loved the fire emblem demo, but see monster hunter is on sale on the eshop for $19.99. Never played it but hear good things, any advice here?Comment

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Monster Hunter is like an MMO so in order to get the most out of it, you're going to need a group or it'll be a struggle. Fire Emblem, you can play on your own time.Comment

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I ended up getting fire emblem, can't wait to start it, just wish monster hunter was easier to play online with friends without needing a wii u, or else i would have gotten that to and started some kind of OS 3ds MH groupComment

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Bravely Default has been up on the store for a few hours now.
Used my credit from some promotion from back when and bought it for $9.99 (since I had $30 in credit.)
Legitimately can't wait for it to get done. Seems like a huge download compared to other games.badComment

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I finally finished The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds last night. What an incredible game! I put in just over 30 hours with the game, and enjoyed every minute of it. The graphics were clean and crisp, framerate was stable and the music ... fantastic!
Zelda games never seem to have a big story behind them, but I thought this one was solid and the ending, while predictable, was well done.
I found the final boss battle to be a little underwhelming in terms of difficulty, but that's probably a good thing since I struggled on some of the earlier bosses and finding my way through the dungeons (had to use a walkthrough for a few parts. I'm not the best with puzzles).
I really can't recommend this game enough. I know fans were clamoring for A Link To The Past game redone in 3D, but I think the route Nintendo went instead with A Link Between Worlds was absolutely the right way to go.
Now, time to check out some of the other games in my 3DS collection.Currently Playing:

Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced
I've had a 3DS XL for almost a month, yet have not gotten it out of the box until today. How do I add people's friend codes? Do I have to add them in a game, or can I from the 3DS "Home" menu?Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals
