They supposedly got mad at each other because Nintendo wouldn't let Amazon discount their handheld consoles. So now Amazon won't sell any of Nintendo's consoles, but you can still get the Fulfilled by Amazon retailers. I didn't think it affected games though.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
So im leaving for Myrtle in a couple of days and I am probably bringing my DS to play in the car. I have a couple of questions:
Is there any cheap external battery or something I can get to keep it charged?
Is there any cheap good games to keep me occupied? I only own Pokemon so basically anything is up for grabs. I prefer RPG's.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

As for games, you will probably have to spend $20-$30 for most DS RPGs. Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Chrono Trigger, Radiant Historia, Dragon Quest V, Final Fantasy IV, and The World Ends With You are ones I would recommend.
For non RPGs:
Ghost Trick, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - Order of Ecclesia - Portait of Ruin, Advance Wars, 999, GTA: Chinatown Wars, Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Layton and Ace Attorney series.
Also, here's a really good thread on the DS library:

Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced
On a whim today, picked up a textured 3DSXL case from Best Buy. It's their Rocketfish brand, but it's got a slim fit, but textured like the Nerf WiiU gamepad cover and less bulky. Snaps on similar to a cellphone case.
I got the last blue-trimmed one, as the rest were all solid black. Very positive early impressions to me. Look forward to seeing how it holds up; definitely improves the grip.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Mario Golf: World Tour is a robust package. I can see myself playing that for months. My one complaint is it can be difficult to read any slopes for some of the greens on approach shots.
Kirby: Triple Deluxe is pretty great. In typical Kirby fashion, it's charm overload. The level design is so inventive and varied, sub-bosses and world bosses are well done (world 2 boss is some Nintendo magic), and inhaling certain enemies to transform and copy their powers is neat. Each power seems to have at least 3 different moves depending on the directional input + attack. The 3D depth effects are up there with Super Mario 3D Land and the game doesn't skip a beat at 60fps. It's easily one of better looking games on the 3DS. There's a Smash-style arena fighting and rhythm game modes outside of the story mode, but I haven't tried those yet. If your in the mood for a new platformer, definitely check it out.
Also, this trailer Nintendo did is amazing:

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I have that same problem with the slopes on the green also. I remember being able to gauge them way better on Mario Golf 64. Otherwise the game is a blast. Can definitely see this one lasting a while because its so easy to just pick up and play a round in 20 minutes or so.
Sounds fun!Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
