    A couple of things:

    1) The 3D effect for me just makes the screen seem "bigger" to me. Hard to explain, but it just adds something to the game that is subtle, but a positive addition to me.

    2) People have been mentioning that they feel the system update last week made some games feel smoother or the frame rate better. I'm noticing Sonic Racing be a bit smoother, but I haven't checked the it her games. Hopefully it smooths out Lego City next week when it comes out (previews have said it is a bit choppy at times).

Really enjoying the little system, especially how it feels after putting on the CPP XL.

My games I plan to pick up used over the next year or so:

      Mario Kart 7
      New Super Mario Bros 2
      Star Fox 64
      Fire Emblem Awakening
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
      Resident Evil Revelations
Congrats! I wish I could commit to picking one of these up. Maybe this holiday season.

Not coming until 2014 in NA, but I'm happy Square Enix' Bravely Default is coming over thanks to Nintendo stepping up and publishing it. It's basically Final Fantasy without the title.

Edit: Just realized Fire Emblem comes out this week in Europe. My love affair with XCom may drive this to be my next 3DS purchase.

Nintendo's owning it with the 3DS. Making me glad I got one, especially since I'd been down on it for a while after purchase a year or so ago.

Much happier to have this with all these games coming.

Likewise. I just keep finding games I want, yet still have no time to play. Lego City next week!

Yeah, I was pretty close to jumping off the fence and grabbing one, but a LttP sequel pretty much guarantees I'll pick one up.

Make the jump Sky.....I went to the XL after my hands hurting and eyes burning after owning / playing the regular.

The larger version is pure bliss, don't even have to wear my glasses while playing! Honestly, it's a pretty big difference, at least for me.
