Supposedly a couple of people on OS have swapped in solid state drives though, which will load things quicker. I haven't tried this myself.

Like 8 months ago they changed all that, you are now limited to 2 PS3s and 2 portables per PSN account.

Unless things have changed again, at the end of last year Sony changed their policy to allowing us to have our account active on 2 PS3 and 2 Vitas.

Was Gotham City Impostors that FPS that just felt like yet another COD clone?

Anyway, this is a disappointing list, but I don't think we can really expect Twisted Metal and God of War to launch out of nowhere here. They can't simply do what they did last month, every month. They wouldn't ever profit again except for PS+ subscriptions.

You’re going to get some complainers this month. But awesome deals. PS Plus does more than it has to. I have always wondered what PS has to do with the the companies to get there games on these deals (or give aways). I can imagine some companies are not fun to deal with. Keep up the good work.

I hope everyone realizes as well that we’re only going over the first half of July’s updates here. We will have another post going over more Plus content in the later half of the month. But at this time, the Instant Game Collection update here is what’s slated to be updated for the month of July.

Any upcoming PS+ discounts? I really liked when those would be posted at the beginning of the month as well. Though I think you may be holding off on a lot of them due to the whole Rayman: Origins incident.
                      Thanks.

In addition to Summer Sale and Rainbow Moon? Yes. Check the Store Updates as they drop, but the later half of July will have some great discounts on some anticipated new releases.
Pretty good drop. I will be definitely checking Gotham City Imposters. What happened to more retail games getting rotated in though?

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning

Pac Man's pretty fun, but it's a lot different from what you're probably used to. The focus is more on getting the highest score you can as survival is pushed to the back burner:

                        - you're given a bunch of lives

                        - you get bombs that can you can use to escape being trapped by ghosts

                        - the game goes into slow motion when you get in trouble, allowing you to use said bombs or otherwise escape quicker

The main way of scoring points is to stir up ghosts that are sleeping on the playfield by going past them. They'll wake up and chase you, and once you have a long train of ghosts on your tail, find a power pellet and eat them all for a high-scoring point chain.

The main challenge for me comes from the speed, which steadily increases as long as you don't use a bomb or die. The higher the speed, the more regular dots are worth (and you'll be eating those FAST, so they add up), so there's incentive to not putting yourself in a bad spot in the first place.

The game's main mode is a 5 or 10 minute score attack, but there's a few other modes for each stage, including one where you try to get the longest ghost combo possible.

It's definitely fun. Don't know if it's worth the perfect 10 that IGN gave it, but certainly worth a look if you're on the Plus program.

In any event, very happy to see a discount on the upcoming Rainbow Moon.

That's the way I read it too. The are going to stagger the free announcements and the discount announcements two weeks apart. Basically for the reason in this reply:

The challenging thing here is that we want to ensure people are talking about Plus continually through the month. If you look at conversation levels around the internet, it’s high when we would do monthly posts, but drops afterwards through the rest of the month.
I’ll strive to find the balance between getting a good outlook on content, while helping the big goal of getting more people talking about Plus. It’s an important goal for the overall service so we can continue to see it grow so much as it has been doing. Hope that gives a little slice of perspective from our end in terms of update messaging!

Ok I've came to the conclusion PSN rocks. Now I still prefer Live For online gaming but man you cant beat the deals on PSN, period.
                              Now a couple questions:
I'm assuming the free games I get (which I know aren't available to me if I dont stay a PS+ subscriber) can be re-downloaded for free if I delete them in the future, even if they are no longer free... (just by going into dowload history)
                              Is this correct?

                              And 2:
How hard is it to upgrade the HDD and is there a tutorial somewhere on how to do it (saving my stuff etc)

                              Thanks for the help!
