In short, yes, I've not had any issue with them and have been completely satisfied.

Yeah, I've bought from them a couple of times without any issues. In fact, they're very fast.

Looks like Windows Sonic is now active for Games as well as apps on the XB1. This is a sound mode that enables virtual 7.1 sound via any stereo headset you plug in. It also sounds better than any other virtual 7.1 set-up I've tried.

I had gone back to stereo for my headset because because it just sounds so much better than what Astro and TB were pumping out for their virtual 7.1.

There does seem to be an issue in which the dashboard UI sound sometimes sounds distorted. turning Windows Sonic off and on in the settings seems to fix it, but it comes back. But once you start a game or TV show, it's back to being clear.

I'm using a headset plugged into my Elite controller, and it is pretty great. No need for expensive 7.1 headsets. You can plug in your iPhone ear bugs and get the same effect.

Tage settings do have an option to enable Windows Sonic via HDMI or Optical Digital, if you are using a wireless headset that way. But you need to shut off any processing. Likewise, the TB adapter is a no go, too.

It appears MS isn't going the Sony route w/ console parity, won't require Scorpio games to have parity with the Xbox One.

You're mixing the two together (exclusives/performance boosts). The PRO boost mode currently improves performances over the original PS4. Some games are locked or received improved frames with high res. Scorpio, just like the PS4 will have VR exclusives where you will need additional peripherals to play VR. You won't see an exclusive IP that will only play on the higher-end consoles that isn't VR.

Interested to hear which of the two (Acer/ Oculus) VR head gears will be partnered with Scorpio at E3. I've heard that they both are in play at the moment.

The parity mentioned is Sony's mandate that multiplayer be the same experience (fps) I believe.

Eurogamer did a study and determined marked improvements in multi-player competition....

Battlefield 4's performance-sapping 64-player online battles also see a vast improvement - we dipped into an intense multiplayer session and saw a marked improvement, representing a vast increase in fluidity over the same map running on the base PS4 hardware.

The working theory we have is pretty straightforward. In graphics-limited tests, boost mode consistently delivers a 14 per cent increase in frame-rate and we suspect that it is not coincidence that the GPU clock speed bump from base to Pro hardware is 111MHz - pretty much exactly 14 per cent. The suggestion is that when running base mode with boost active, the Pro 'half' of the larger GPU remains inactive, but additional clocks are deployed instead.

UPDATE 14/2/17 3:30pm: Rounding off our analysis of PS4 Pro's upcoming boost mode, we take a look at a title that clear…

                        The mandate you're mentioning was outlined back when Neo was revealed and what Sony claimed going forward with console parity;

The company's documentation reportedly states that there will be no Neo-only games, owners of both versions of the console will continue to use the same PlayStation Store, and publishers are barred from offering special features or downloadable content to owners of one type of console. Crucially, players of both the original PS4 and PS4 Neo and will be able to play alongside each other on PlayStation Network.

Got my new Xbox One S today. Didn't get to set it up, busy day. Rented Halo 5. Looking forward to playing it tomorrow and raiding games from EA Access.

Only bad part is only HDMI 1 on my tv does UHD Color. So I'll have to swap the cables every time I play the PS4 or Xbox until I get a switch.

I've bought several U.K. PSN cards from them and never had a problem. As soon as I click purchase the code download link arrives in my email. It's an instant delivery.

It's become increasingly frustrating that there is no way to rent or buy uhd movies on a console advertised as a 4k media device.

I think only VUDU allows it so far, but $10 for a UHD rental is a robbery to me.
