Re: Xbox One
Don't most games already have a fee anyway that they charge for the "online pass"?
If they start charging fees for used games in general, they are going to piss a lot of people off.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Re: Xbox One
Sounds like either you pay a fee and both accounts can play it, or (what would happen in most cases) deactivate the initial account's install and no fee.
Effectively the same as it is now, adding in the consideration that all games have to be installed to the HDD. You get it second hand, devs make money instead of Gamestop. You pass off a game after you're done, no fee. Makes it easier in cases where your friend wants to buy a game after trying out your copy.
In theory, there won't be a payment as long as its only on one account. So Redbox/Gamefly/Gamestop could still be fine in this situation. But now theres another used outlet where the devs/ms see some of that money.Last edited by Tha_Kid; 05-21-2013, 04:10 PM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
On this post-reveal show it's sounding like you can have two things going at once. Like you could watch a TV show or some other app while you're waiting for a matchmaking game and switch back and forth.Fan of....

Re: Xbox One
Today was the first time we saw the ONE as well. We still have the PC kits and had no clue other than artist rendition of what they thought it may be. Really interested to see the final PS4 as well.Comment

Re: Xbox One
That's exactly what I'm thinking. Watching for 10+ minutes and nothing about games. Was leaning towards Sony but XBox 'One' just clenched it for me. It's clear Microsoft is the PS3 this go around. Can't believe they are calling it XBox One.... Unity, Infinity, anything but One. Bad branding, bad focus, same horrible UI they've forced on us this generation. Not done with the reveal yet, but so far there's nothing that makes me want to upgrade to the new XBox One.Comment

Re: Xbox One
I wish that console manufacturers would make something other than a black or white box.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Xbox One
I couldn't use the Xbox One in my living room then because I have all my equipment in a media closet with my TV mounted neatly on my wall. I would have to run the Kinect cable through my walls back to the media closet for it to work and who knows if that is feasibly with the Kinect cable.Comment
