Can we create a thread where people can go back and forth in a pointless debate over which system is better?

As long as the Turtle Beaches/other headsets still work it won't be too big of an issue. If it is still though, it isn't hard to mute people.

It's a little perplexing to me how people feel the need to justify passing on the X1 by constantly pointing out what they dont like about it, and then praise the PS4 in the X1 forum. Why not point out the merits of the PS4 and all the terrible things about the X1 in the PS4 forum? Its gone a little too far when people actually say Sony online is as good, or better, than XBL. I understand that this isn't a positive only thread, but it's the same people day after day posting the same negative stuff. It would be nice to just read useful info instead of sifting through all the fanboy noise.

Or you can use the ignore feature. It's there for a reason.

For the most part I haven't seen anything "terrible" posted about the X1 in here, aside from the old DRM policies and the way they've treated indie devs up to this point.

Hopefully they are going to change their stance on the indie developers too. Some of the better games that have been released have been Indie games.

You can't have a thread discussing a new console without discussing the other one that's coming out simultaneously. Most people are still trying to decide on which systems. There are going to be comparisons. A lot of them. It's unrealistic to expect otherwise.

it should be easy .. XBox1 knows what sound it is sending out and the frequency of those sound waves, it also knows your room and everything in it, so it should even be able to know how the sound will bounce off everything. Then you just remove that from the sound the mic is picking up.

Cell phones, speaker phones, etc can do it, so if M$ can't get that right, then they need to scrap it

I'm looking foward to the multitasking of the x1. Also hoping games like kinect sports take great advantage of the kinect. Loved both games on the 360, only problem i had with the 360 was space requierments, but allready know that is not a problem with x1 kinect.

                        From the article above:

"... it’s pretty clear Microsoft isn’t going to change its mind on used games and the Internet."

Well, they did unfortunately. Now we can't buy digital games on sales at retail. Instead we now have to pay full price on Xbox Live Marketplace.

                            Re: Xbox One

Because then every store that today sell games would sell digital copies of the games ( you would have bought the game on disc, installed it and the you could throw the disc if you wanted.) Now stores will sell discbased games and Xbox live markerplace the digital version.

So, instead of buying my games in digital format for say 40 dollars I now have to buy them for 60 dollars. Next gen became a lot more expensive when MS dropped there steam-concept and went back to last gen distribution model. To bad for us who have internet.

I dont want loads of discs Lyons aroud. I have to much crap as it is.

(I live in Sweden so the prices were just to give perspective, not actual prices.)

The problem is all the drive by posts from people who have zero intentions of buying the system they are "posting" about and just want to keep throwing little pot shots about the system.

The main reason I am stiff iffy on whether the X1 will be a release day buy is the kinect requirement. If it wasn't for that I'd have it and the PS4 on their release days.
Get rid of that and lower the price and they have my money for sure on release day.

                                We'll see. I'm weak though.
