Lmao. I didn't read any of the articles yet but GameInformers url for Ryse crack me up.

I want impressed from the couple hours I've seen of it either. Animations were terrible 90% of the time and the game just didn't look special at all. Sadly, I'd have to agree with their title... but what can you expect from launch games. They're normally forgettable at best.

Yeah it looks like just another button masher game. Not really my style. Graphics are good, but gameplay looks dull and boring.

This promo they are doing right now, it's insulting. I know I'm going to come off greedy or a spoiled brat here, but it's a giant middle finger to loyal fanbase. I have 11 plus years of uninterrupted Xbox Live service, 123,000 achievement points and I didn't get squat. Not a free digital game (which honestly, everyone with 3-4 years plus should have gotten) and certainly not a free Xbox One.

I've been leaning the other way for a long time, and this pushed me over the edge. I'm done with the Xbox brand. I was annoyed at the 10 year celebration where I didn't get squat either, now this. Seriously, not even a DLC car for Forza 5 like many others got.

I'm done Microsoft, thanks for pushing me the right way and showing me where I'll be doing my gaming in the next generation.

GI's mini review of Ryse is brutal.
I was really looking forward to this one.
I thought it was going to be much deeper than it sounds.
Hopefully there is much more to it than the demo he played.

IGN liked Ryse, so I'm not going to be too upset about anything yet. I don't mind button masher types as long as it comes with a bit of strategy, ala God of War.

I'm not a big fan of console racing games(my PC setup is ridiculous.....it was my go to genre forever)....but I'm definitely checking this out.

Knight, I'll be doing the exact same thing. Forza and DR3 are the only games on the One that I KNOW I'll be picking up. I really want Ryse to succeed, so I'll wait to hear more about it. Not looking great thus far.

Does anyone know....in Forza....if the cloud opponents are an option?
It worries me to leave the A.I. up to the online community.....too many idiots that would purposely try and screw this up IMO if it's the only A.I. option.
If so...perhaps they are going to screen who gets used?
(or maybe I'm not getting how it is working)
