Thanks for relaying the info. I feel sorta bad criticizing support people, like I said I used to be one, but the lady even said she was from Xbox 360 support and had been moved to Xbox One which is way more in-depth, as she said.
She and her supervisor both tried and were pretty good, they just didn't have the technical capability and once they heard DirecTV they wanted to hope that DirecTV could help me out. That's the only part that really got me, they can't do that as shipping customers off on a fools chase is bad for MS' reputation..
If my TV app stops working again and does the same thing I'll be resetting in a hurry...just SO GLAD IT'S WORKING AGAIN!! I really like using the voice commands for just about everything.
Now if only I could get my audio video receiver to be recognized by the Xbox One, it's a Samsung AH64-04467E - any input on how to go about getting that to work? It's an older a/v receiver...about 5 years old. Nothing in the Xbox One menus even was close to the model number..
