Need more good 34" monitors. Saw there are a few at CES. Don't need Chromecast in the thing though, lol.

I wish the size was bigger. 27 inch is too small for my taste.

Give it time, somebody, most likely Acer or LG will make a 34 inch version. ASUS really don't specialize in 34 inch monitors, their market are the 24 and 27 inch monitors. Where as Acer and LG pretty much got the 34 inch market locked down.

Much like Benq did with their premium gaming line, with call it Zowie, Gigabyte is going to start calling their premium gaming motherboards and graphic cards Aorus. This seem to be the trend and future with these tech companies. Separating their average consumer gaming stuff from the extreme premium gaming product line.

Only a matter of time before Asus, EVGA, MSI and Zotac do the same thing.

After a few weeks struggling over things I finally stopped procrastinating and went ahead.
As I said before the rest of the parts will be here tomorrow.

I already have - >>>Fans, HDD, SSD drive, optical drive and case.
MB, Memory, Power supply, GPU and Cooler is what is on schedule to get here tomorrow.
I tell you though, picking out parts (And color coordinating lol ) has been really fun. Tons more options since the last build I did. Either that or when I did my last build I just didn't have enough money for different options.

The main struggle I had was CPU cooler.
                Liquid - Air - Liquid - Air...

Ended up going air BUT an easy change down the line if I want.

1 of my 3 monitors will be here Thursday. The other 2 in a couple weeks.
Went with the Asus VG248QE 24.0". Not a be all end all but I'm sure I'll be happy, especially when the other 2 get here and I fire up my flight sim

                Spoiler

There were a few items in the list that were actually a bit cheaper than what's listed when I bought them due to free shipping etc..
                And yeah it's Black/Red Build

Those monitors are just fine. I use that as my main gaming monitor (the other 2 I use are 21" due to space limitations.) You'll enjoy it. Just don't forget to go into nVidia control panel and turn on 144Hz mode.

Air is better than liquid cooling as well, unless you go fully custom.

I would highly suggest buy some better fans then the default Hyper 212 fan. That default fan is loud as hell when it gets to high RPMs. I swiped that one out with 2 Corsair fans that are quiet, even at 100% speed. Yeah, those type of air coolers work better with 2 fans attached instead of just one.

Also the GTX 1080 tend to coil whine the first few days......After that, it stops.

This fan is actually quiet so far but hardly being used right now. Maybe they changed it with the 212 LED version. No noise at all really... YET
Either way IF it does get loud.. I already have 4 extra fans (All Corsair)

Yeah it's awesome they give extra bracket for 2nd fan..

                        Anyways.. UPDATE:

Just finished the build. Everything went great. Updated BIOS (Man has the bios world changed since my last build.. Lol ) and configured Memory etc...

Currently installing W10 Pro then I'll hit the drivers etc...

Once I'm done I'll throw up a couple picks..

Mixed reviews, would be interested in your impressions.

The couple of english streamers I've chatted with are enjoying it, but said they can see it could be pretty repetitive, and that the politics may be unexpected by some and could push them away.
