I been debating getting this as I don't have cable, I just use an antenna for my local channels and Sling for the little package they have with the big plus on that is it has ESPN.

How many channels do you get with the basic package? Do they have ESPN? If you don't mind me asking

Basic is 30 channels, and yep ESPN is in there

It's a good 30 channels though, perfect for me and the family.....it's blowing sling away for me so far....

It will sometimes say on your save file. Fallout 4 does it.

Giving the elite package a free trial right now, looks great so far, your right way better then sling in channel lineup and they have a glitchy app as well.

The good thing is PlayStation Vue is on Amazon Fire as well so I have it available in multiple rooms on a TV, thanks for the info on this

That is news to me and I have never heard any thing about xboxone keeping track of how much time you played on a game. I don't have fallout 4 but I will have to look at my other games and see what they say.

Yeah I used it on our Fire TV in our family room, and then in my man cave on the PS4. Heck tonight we had WWE Network on in Family Room and I was watching The Walking Dead on the Ipad in my lap. So it definitely has it's uses.

I wish it had a little better episode database but I guess that will come with time. Looking for more "First Aired" or "New/Rerun" Information would be great.

Yeah I agree that it is not a platformer like I said I think it is more like a action adventure game but I know it is consider a platformer. I agree at platformer is side view where you go from start to end of level.

Just because you are one of my favorite posters...

Go play Ori and the Blind Forest and tell me it's a game made for children. I'll wait.

I bet kids these days can't finish one of the 10 classic Mega Man games, Super Mario Bros. 1/2/3/World, Castlevania 1/2/3/4/SoTN, Gex, Ninja Gaiden 1/2/3...



The funny thing about kids games is the fact that most of the "hardcore" games, like GTA, COD, God of War, Uncharted are preferred by kids, and you could make a point about how they're made with kids in mind, especially if you think about the stupid amount of tutorials, in game guidance (c'mon, Red Dead Redemption has horses with GPS), and almost inexistent challenge.



Most kids can't finish Super Mario 3D World, but most kids can finish GTA, CoD and Assassin's Creed.

Thats cool, IDC what kids play or what games they can or cant finish tbh. If kids want to play Super Mario 3D World or Mega Man then thats cool, if they want to play COD or GTA then thats cool. Im not going to cry about kids not being able to beat old or "difficult" games, thats silly and screams "GOOD OLE DAYS WHEN GAMES WERE HARD" crying I hear from some gamers which is annoying.

Tutorials are there to help gamers, it can be turned off if you dont need it so I'm not going to cry about that either, thats silly.

Ok, well that's cool if you, or anyone, doesn't like a genre but don't like it for the right reasons I guess was my point. Don't like it because you find it boring is one thing but not liking it because of how you may be perceived as a gamer is just silly to me.

Either way, anyone has the right to dislike anything for any reason, I just would encourage people to try to not pigeonhole themselves as a walking stereotype of what is "cool" and what is "not cool" according to societys standards.

Yeah like I said the genre isnt for me anymore. People who do pigeonhole themselves from certain genres probably dont care about gaming anyways to that doesnt really matter.

While ever one is different and some times as you get older things you used to like you don't like any more or you start to like things you didn't used to like. One thing I never really understood is why a game like ratchet and clank is consider a platformer in the first place. To me it is more like a action/adventure game. When I think platformer I think more of Mario, Sonic, DK ect. There are a lot of platformers I like. Ratchet and clank is my favorite sony franchise and it is a platformer. When it comes to Nintendo I love DK but my favorite Nintendo franchise is Zelda not a platformer. DKC 2 and DKCTF are both in my top like 20 games of all time played. Ratchet and clank are in my like top 30 or so games. Rayman legends is also amazing. So I like platformers a lot. I know that a lot of people like FPS but to me I couldn't care less. To me FPS are really boring and I fell like they are all the same and the whole first person thing confuses me to the point where I get lost and fall of cliffs and stuff. 3erd person to me is way better than 1st person for any game would be better if you could play in 3erd person instead.

Exactly, the way you feel about FPS is the way I feel about Platformers. Everybody got their own taste in Gaming
