Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
I redownloaded The Last of Us remastered yesterday to try out HDR on my Sony xbr43x800d and I must say I was surprised at how good it looked. I can only imagine how good it will look on the PS4 Pro. Really looking forward to getting the pro this week.PSN: ckarlic

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
unfortunately my monitor doesnt support the HDR color gamut but I had a chance to see it live at BB the other day and I was pretty impressed."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
This is why I don't trade in games. Yeah a PS4 or Xbox One isn't worth much to sell or trade in BUT when you bundle a bunch of games then you can sell on Craigslist or eBay for a good sum. I sold my Xbox 360 with 70 games for $450. This was right when PS4 came out. A large portion of my 70 games was like Madden 11, Madden 12, etc... But that doesn't matter as the buyer only sees 70 freaking games, LOL
Also, selling as a bundle around Christmas, like right now I mean, helps a TON too.
I would NEVER trade in two consoles for $300 anywhere. That's a huge ripoff!! You could easily bundle just one system, like the PS4 with a bunch of old games and a an older controller or two and get $300 on CL.
And the best part of it too is you will likely help out some parent to make their kids Christmas awesome. Most kids would much rather get a used system with a bunch of games and an extra controller than get one new system with 1 game and 1 controller.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
based on what I found here:
The PS4 Pro will record gaming footage at 1080p/30fps, at a better resolution but identical framerate compared to video capture on the base PS4, according to a Sony rep. The Pro will support “1080p/60fps broadcast, remote play and share play,” broadband willing.
Seems to clear up the question from Icicle, from earlier.

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
GTA5, Witcher 3 (I own it on PC but I would love for the console guys to get a boost. ALSO, I know it is confirmed to NOT be getting a patch, just saying if I had my pick), or Neverwinter. I love Neverwinter on PS4 but it could use a performance boost IMO. Madden would be cool, too. Arkham Knight Pro patch would make me go back and play that one again too
I know a lot of people want Bloodborne to be supported
Metal gear Solid Phatom Pain NEEDS a patch
and honest since both are on PC already THEY CAN EASILY get one out
Its games like bloodbourne that DONT have a pc version that might not get it
BUT i wonder if sonystudios dont have to really do much either
I mean sony games come out with patches still from time to time
heck even a defunct dev like evolution studios for driveclub got out of the woodworks to make a huge patch recentlyBrand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment

If it's in the budget, move it to another room and get another TV. If it's not then see what you can get for it or waitComment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
How big is your TV and how much did you pay? The thing that would piss me off would be if I had gotten a 4k TV a few years ago that didn't have HDR.Comment

Re: PlayStation 4 Discussion
So do I splurge on an HDR capable 4K tv now? Or enjoy the better resolution and get the better tv next year when the Scorpio comes out? A third factor for me is I much rather game on a 27" monitor because of how many FPS games I play online. Do I grab a 4K monitor with HDR capabilities? They're very hard to come by right now.
In your case, if you have the financial means to do so, I'd look into the Sony's that people on here are raving about. They're well priced and they'll get you the best bang for the buck. If money is not an issue, getting one of the Samsung's with the 20ish ms input lag times in HDR mode would be where I begin and end my search.
