Heck you talk about over the show forums and the show has been proven to run at 60 fps since like 09 yet you have people over there that complain about fps issues lol.
I've never noticed anything on The Show. Hell, I probably wouldn't notice a frame rate issue even if there was one. I'm not technologically dumb or anything but the whole fps thing has always been something I never quite understood.

Like countryboy said, I just hook up and play. The only time I have seen any issues like stuttering or anything has been in Rock Band 4. Even that wasn't anything game breaking for me.

    Appreciate all the responses though.

I'm not going to hash that whole argument about the Show out again in this thread (and this is the only time I'll post about it here), but there were times during gameplay that looked more like the left side than the right. And when it goes back and forth between the left and right side of that video, it's jarring.

That's what we're hoping the Pro fixes.

30fps vs 60fps is no contest...Also 60fps will make the image look better as well

It's hard to say. All major sport titles run at 60. COD and Battlefield target 60. Open world games tend to run at 30. Destiny ran at 30 for legacy purposes. Mixed bag honestly

To me, those two videos look exactly the same. I can't tell the difference between the two.

I'm just not sensitive, is that the right phrase?, to frames per second.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Most others run at 30fps and many under 1080p

To me the biggest test of the difference is if you own the last of us remastered. Start at 30fps in the options menu and then move around then turn 30fps to off and it goes to 60fps and the difference is night and day....

Make sure that the quality is at 1080p60 (with the gear-looking button in the lower right). It might be that the embedded video is only showing at 30 FPS for you, in which case you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

If it is definitely on 60 FPS....then I don't know what to tell you. You might be right about not being sensitive to it - and I definitely don't mean that as an insult.

Only chrome can display that in 1080 60 if I'm not mistaken?

Yeah I don't own the The Last of Us Remastered. I only have it on the PS3.

Oh I just played the video. Maybe that is why I couldn't notice a difference. But I will say that when people noticed drops in FPS in the Show this past year, I never noticed it.

                    Maybe I need better contacts....

While the thing is when a game really does have FPS issues reviews will talk about it a lot. If you look at reviews around the internet for the show for example none of them really talk about the game having frame rate issues at all yet you see people complain about it. Where if you look at a game like the remasters of batman return to Arkham ever review talks about how it has frame rate issues ever one. If a game runs at 30 fps with out dropping it fells smooth. Its when it drops below 30 that you have problems and more complaining like with return to Arkham the game is said to go from 30 down to like 20-25 a lot and when frame rate drops below 30 it starts to look kind of slow motion and when frame rate chances a lot like then it starts to look herky jerky.

I think when YT first introduced 60 FPS video it was only chrome, but now Firefox and Edge can do it too (although I don't know if they set it to 1080p60 automatically - you might have to change the quality yourself)

Great video review of the issue with the Pro having FPS issues compared to vanilla PS4

Not sure Sony is happy to see this

That video really exacerbates the difference for me. I've never paid attention to it, but seeing them side by side, I can see why people clamor for 60 fps. I'll probably never notice it by itself, so if a game is 30 fps I won't know that it's not 60 fps without a side by side. But seeing that, I definitely understand the desire because it's silky smooth.
