Not sure how realistic this rumor is but I hope the sunset overdrive part is true has its the only game xbox has that I think is worth playing. I know with e3 getting closer rumors are going to pick up more and more.

Sony also renewed their 'Resistance' trademark for gaming. Would love to see a new resistance game!

Their twitter account has been trolling resistance fans for years with random pics of that game. I would happily take a remaster with the campaign for all 3 games.

Actually my interest has gone way down at this point.
Maybe it will spark again come winter. We'll see.

For those looking I downloaded an app called HotStock and it notifies me when the consoles are in stock. Yesterday I had a chance to get a PS5 from Target but hesitated because my preference is a Series X. Because of that hesitation I missed out.

Point being that this app has worked well for me so far in at least knowing where and when to look for stock on one of these consoles. I initially wanted to wait until a mid-gen refresh or PS5 slim, but am thinking I may pick up one now instead.

Same, but I also feel like my patience is devalued since I don't have a chance at getting one anyway now, if that makes sense. It's stupid sense, but it makes sense in my head haha.

Just like when PS+ first came out, I was more than happy to pay $50/year or whatever because I felt like my subscription was valued by it being an optional, premium experience. Now that everyone is basically required to pay it to play online, I find the $50/year spent less valuable (including the free games that one gets, but it was also a different time and I was gaming much more then).

Truth be told, I hardly ever game when work is in the way. I didn't touch a game or turn on a console at all the entire month of April, and March just had a few Super Mega Baseball matches. Summer will give me more opportunities, but I'll also be teaching summer school, so bleh.

The PS5 just isn't something I'm interested in at this moment in time.

Same here - no rush to buy one at the moment and the whole experience of trying to purchase one online has soured me, along with the lack of games.

Agree with the PS5 sentiments. At this point I don't really care. The only thing I'll miss is the MLBTS21 capability to use the create-a-stadium feature - but then again, those guys having to start from scratch to create historic rosters diminishes even that. Otherwise, I just don't play games like I used to.

Is anyone on here having issues over the last couple of days where you cannot scroll through your games and it is just stuck on the News thing at the top (the Rocket/Arrow looking thing.)

Sometimes resetting works, sometimes it does not.

I can go to the Switcher and pick something, but once back at the menu, it stays stuck on that game.

I had that happen to me last week, restarting fixed it for me. Not sure what causes that, but I noticed it happened when coming out of rest mode.

My sentiments exactly. I've been turned off by the whole lack of supply, can't complete an order because a Scalper or Bot was much faster than me and I got the message "this item is no longer available" right before trying to pay.

I've owned every Playstation since the original as well as each of the XBOX's. I had a similar problem with the XBOX and snagged a Series X on Walmart but only because I had to buy the All Access Edition which wasn't a problem since I view Game Pass Ultimate as "beyond essential" at this point. I also bought a Series S at Target when they had a restock.

I've wanted a PS5 since it was released but no way in hell am I giving in to a scalper. It may work out in the end as I think the PS5 and I saw a display model at Best Buy is beyond HUGE. So maybe by the time they will be readily available the PS5 Pro or PS5 Slim will get announced in a couple of years.

So after the last ps5 update the console when I put it on rest mode, completely shuts off and cannot be turned on from the dual sense. I have to press the power button on the ps5 console and it beeps and nothing. I have to press it a second time before it starts and gives me a message that my ps5 was turned off improperly...Which is not the case..It has happened 2 times today already...

Anybody having this issue?
