Now I can't wait to hook up my 360 and Wii tomorrow. I'm worn out after moving around 3 TV's, and then must list 2 of the TV's on Craig's List first thing tomorrow.

    Thanks fellas for the advice.
That's awesome man, great to hear!! Welcome to the 5087 club. Maybe you can help Kashanova figure out his problem, he has asked me about blurriness and some issues regarding colour bleed and I honestly can't figure out what he's talking about to help him.

Let me know how the Wii looks in 480p if you can, i'm thinking of buying one sometime soon.

EG isn't allowed to get a 1080P set. We've heard him talk about how 1080 is no different than 720 forever. I bet he gets one before summers over.

Nope, the Olevia went up to the living room and I'm going to be selling the Toshiba 50" RPHD and the Toshiba 30" CRTHD. That way I recoup some of the money that I spent on this TV today.

Congrats Candy... it's a very nice television. I miss my 61" already, but I came away to the good on it, so I'll just buy something else fairly soon.

I don't know what he was looking at, but there is a difference between 1080P and 1080i when you are looking at 50" or more. Especially GTHD, that thing looks nice.

No, I'm almost 30 yrs old with a wife/3 kids and I have a very good job working for the 3rd largest Texbook Publishing company in the world + I sell things on ebay to make some extra cash. I'm not rich, just work like everyone else and husstle to get the things I like. Plus I also work for a videogame site where I write reviews and the owner started sending me games for free to review.

Remember, I may post about a lot of games on here as advertising them to get discussions going but I don't buy them all either.

Will, I think that 1080P is calling Scott's name. What do you think? He is in denial that 1080P sets don't look good.

I can't believe how much more amazing Crank looks in 1080P, I can see the details in Jason's stubble is so scary as hell. Just the detail alone is crazy.

I forget who the guy is that works at EB. I always thought it was you. I can't remember since they killed the WTHIOYM thread. Oh well.

I hope you like the TV. I almost went for the Sammy DLP before I bought my Sony. I think I'll try out a Sammy for my next TV. It will be, at least, 1 year before I even consider it though.

I'll take that bet, I love my current TV, and I have no interest in a new TV. Name the bet.

If I get a windfall of 2K in cash somehow, it would be a different story. I don't use credit cards, so basically, no chance. The only money I've been saving right now is for our complete kitchen remodel.

Get it calibrated because it shouldn't be that way. The reason I chose DLP over LCD is that DLP's are known to have better blacks than LCD's.

The only issue I had was lack of detail in dark scenes. Chad B calibrated my set last week and that issue is gone.
