Supes is getting a "new" origin in Action Comics #5 (January).

I'm sure Grant Morrison will make it very interesting. There was some preview art of Krypton in #2.

That's why they have previews. Captain Atom and Mister Terrific looked absolutely horrible.

I understand why there are previews. I just thought about giving some comics that I wouldn't have thought about years ago a shot.

Not a fan of Superman. At. All. But Morrison is one of the top writers in comics currently. I'm sure it'll be good for those that read it. Hell, i'm still annoyed Marvel Retconned some of his stuff from his run on X-Men.

I'm really digging the Action Comics Supes. He's a boyscout at heart still, but he is cocky and has a lot more personality than the Superman Supes.

I am THIS close to not reading another issue of Catwoman as long as it's written by the current writer. The whole scene with Bruce Wayne being skeevy with Selina was just icky.

The guy's writing this book for horny teenage boys who want extreme sexuality and violence.

I thought the '90s was over????

yeah i am totally aggravated by the writer on Catwoman. It was my most anticipated title behind JH Williams doing Batwoman and the main Batman title and Catwoman has been nothing but an annoyance.

I'm not sure what they're trying to sell with that honestly. This Catwoman is quite low on the attractiveness pole so if they were trying to sell sex you'd think they'd at least make the character attractive.

Yeah man the art is ok. Some panels look great then others...meh. I wish the artist doing Batwoman was doing catwoman. Imo that book has the best art and style going for it.

The two page panel interposing the current crime scene with what actually took place is awesome. The two page ongoing panel thing they do in that book is actually pretty cool touch.

I still have Batman 2 sitting here unread until after work tonight.

Batman this week is pretty awesome. I'm loving this story so far.

I liked how the Old Wayne Tower became a key part of the issue myself. That's all i'll say about that. Overall the Bat-Books are all pretty good with Catwoman dragging the line down completely.

Yeah, the art is what really pulled me into that comic. I like the story, but the art is just awesome to look at. I've heard the Flash artwork is top-notch too, but I haven't checked it out yet.

before the reboot J.H. Williams did the writing and art or the Batwoman stories in
Detective Comics in the same style. When i heard they were having him come back to Batwoman for the DCnU i was sold.
