Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Yeah, the movie was good and Ledger was awesome. Eckard's performance flew under the radar because he was excellent as well. BUT...SpoilerWhy did they keep The Joker alive? He did all that crazy stuff and they just string him up and take him back into custody? I don't get it. Were they planning a sequel with him before he died? Or was there something I missed?xbl gamertag: jiggidyjames72Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
I've been thinking a little bit, and for potential villains in Batman 3:
SpoilerI've already mentioned how Catwoman may be the next villain, but there's still potential for somebody else. Remember Mr. Reese, the guy that was going to blackmail Batman? Well, spell it out and say it slowly... Mister Reese. Misssterrrreeese... mysteries.
Does anyone think this could be the birth of The Riddler?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Saw this last night, I wanted to cry. What a beautiful performance by not only Heath Ledger, but the whole cast! No doubt The Joker stole the show but wow! Beautiful!Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
SpoilerI am wondering if catwoman could be a villain in part three. Fox made a comment when he was showing Wayne the new body armor. :Might not protect you from dogs, but you are certainly safe from Cats.
Saw this movie last night. I am completely blown away. I think I will see it two more times in the theater. Heath Ledger does deserve an Oscar for this.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Just got back from seeing this afternoon. Like everyone has said, it was a masterpiece. There are pieces of the film that will stick with you long after you leave. Every time The Joker wasnt on the screen, you found yourself wanting him to get back as quickly as possible.
Some movies require a second screening to catch what you may have missed, this requires a second viewing to take in what ends up being an awesome movie. Even with all the hype, and astronomical expectations, i still came out impressed and in awe. I figured Ledger and his performance was more a result of his tragic passing than his skill as an actor portraying the joker, but it wasnt. He didnt portray the joker, he WAS the joker, truly brilliantCheck out my Tampa Bay Buccaneers CFM Thread.

Re: The Dark Knight Discussion
Ledger was fantastic. He was going to rack up at the Oscar's regardless, but he deserves every single one of them.
Great, great movie.
SpoilerOh, and the reason the Joker didn't die is because he was a recurring villain in the comics. Whenever something went wrong in Gotham, somehow or another, it could always be traced back to the Joker. I'm not sure what they will do now that Ledger is no longer with us... maybe just hint towards the Joker being behind things?Comment

Christopher Nolan said that if he were to do another movie he wants a villain never used in a previous movie."Sports is human life in microcosm."
