Yeah, the movie was good and Ledger was awesome. Eckard's performance flew under the radar because he was excellent as well. BUT...

It was to display the main difference between The Joker and Batman. Batman is good and doesn't kill, so why should that change for anyother man

Think I'm going to see it for the third time at 12:20, but don't know if they'll still have tickets. Couple of friends and I are planning on heading down and getting tickets to whatever the closest show is.

I've been thinking a little bit, and for potential villains in Batman 3:

Saw this last night, I wanted to cry. What a beautiful performance by not only Heath Ledger, but the whole cast! No doubt The Joker stole the show but wow! Beautiful!

Saw this movie last night. I am completely blown away. I think I will see it two more times in the theater. Heath Ledger does deserve an Oscar for this.

I guess you guys are right. I was just trying to connect more than I guess I could.

I think I'm seeing it again later today, so looks like it will be another good day!

Just got back from seeing this afternoon. Like everyone has said, it was a masterpiece. There are pieces of the film that will stick with you long after you leave. Every time The Joker wasnt on the screen, you found yourself wanting him to get back as quickly as possible.

Some movies require a second screening to catch what you may have missed, this requires a second viewing to take in what ends up being an awesome movie. Even with all the hype, and astronomical expectations, i still came out impressed and in awe. I figured Ledger and his performance was more a result of his tragic passing than his skill as an actor portraying the joker, but it wasnt. He didnt portray the joker, he WAS the joker, truly brilliant

Ledger was fantastic. He was going to rack up at the Oscar's regardless, but he deserves every single one of them.

                              Great, great movie.

Christopher Nolan said that if he were to do another movie he wants a villain never used in a previous movie.
