I watched it on the PC... I enjoyed it. Spiderman 2 is still my favorite out of this series followed by 3. I didn't enjoy the first installment at all.

yeah, I think people are being way too hard on this movie... Even if it was the 3rd best Spider-man movie(which it wasn't) that would still make it better than most blockbusters we get. Secondly, other than Dunst I think all the actors turned in good performances and finally, it's Venom vs. Spider-Man on the big screen! I think that right there should be reason enough to be pumped about how the movie went.

I must be the only person in the world that isn't bothered by Dunst's acting. I think she's a fine actress.

btw Spider-Man 3 broke the record for an opening weekend at 148 million dollars... also it's already made 230 million overseas in it's opening weekend. This thing is a cash cow!

Yes, but that costume...especially the mask. That was like a K-Mart post Halloween special!

Yeah that is true, they should have made it like the comic book, but oh well Defoe was awesome.

That's the thing. A lot of people wanted more Venom, but the only real action was the final scene of the movie.

I've seen the movie twice in the last 24 hours and I don't see how people like SM 1&2 better. This movie was much more exciting and action packed and I already knew pretty much the outcome of the movie months and months ago as I follow certain movies during production.

This was a great superhero trilogy.

Sure, it was more exciting and action packed, but I dont see how you can say that made the movie. Considering everyone is expecting the big action scenes... they really needed the rest of the movie to pull it through, and they did not achieve that.

Like I said, the action scenes WERE awesome. I really enjoyed those parts.

But the parts that weren't "action" were utterly terrible. They tried to do too much in one movie, and they made it entirely too cheesey.

I'm just saying not to ignore the "non-action" sequences. Sure, it's a summer blockbuster, and it supposed to be action-packed, but that doesn't give it a free pass in terms of the movie as a whole.

They should have skipped out on Venom for this movie and saved him for a fourth installment. And if they knew this was going to be the last one, they should have skipped out on Sand Man.

They REALLY should have toned down Emo Spiderman. They should have just made him angry and vengeful. Instead, they made him this ridiculous emo character with make-up under his eyes (look for it, it's there) and Fall Out Boy hair who did this ridiculous dancing and pointing and snapping. "Get me some shade, great legs" or whatever it was.... are you kidding me?

Plus, they threw Spider-man in front of that American Flag... that really pissed me off for some reason. Call me crazy, but I feel like they forced that in there. It was either they were trying to capitalize on the Patriotism thing or they felt as if they "had" to do that. It was really uncalled for if you ask me. It's one thing to be patriotic, it's another to force things and take advantage of it.


The movie could have been much better, and the action scenes were amazing... but that doesn't save the movie. Look past the "oh's and ah's" and you can see it was really lack luster.

Yup, the very end of the first was the most blatant. In the second one it was a bit more subdued with Spidey swinging at the very end of the movie and a row of flags in the background.
