lol, nope. The systems are here to stay. Although my 360 is starting to resemble a jet engine more than a gaming system.

I picked up both SAW 2 and SAW 3 today on BD, I hope their transfers are better than SAW 1 BD.

Did you already buy Saw 1, or just going off the reviews? Sell your previous Saw 2 DVD?

Is the Saw 2 BD missing the features that were on the Saw 2 regular DVD like Saw was?

Was the transfer on Saw 1 that bad? or is it just that it was an ok transfer with no special features?

From the review, it was a good transfer, just it was only the movie. No special features at all. Lionsgate isn't too big on features.

For me, if the movies are going to look similar to the DVD counterpart, and have none of the special features, I'm not paying 10-15 bucks more. That's just me though. I passed on Saw 3 on BD, mainly becuase I'm not spending $25 for a movie I'm not that fond of. I thought about getting the DVD for 13 bucks at CC, but I passed on that too. Especially knowing that there is a Super Special Edition of Saw 3 coming on DVD in October.

Yes, I bought SAW I over the weekend. The transfer is better than the DVD, but I do see room for improvement, but the grain in all 3 movies was always present in the theatrical versions and all DVD versions as it was the way the director filmed them. When you do look past some of the grain in BD movies, the details are there even if it was a movie filmed on a HiDef reel. SAW I is missing features, but since I already seen those features on DVD I'm ok with owning the HiDef version. I bet around October that they re-release this in a Unrated Uncut. with features and a much better transfer. At that time, I'll sell this BD and put the money towards the new version, no big deal.

SAW II BD is loaded with features and it looks like it might be the same as the ones from the Unrated uncut DVD + a few more as I don't have the BD and DVD in front of me right now. I'll have to confirm when I go home.

SAW III BD has tons of features also since its the uncut edition.

Like Blzer, I'm a big fan of this trilogy and for me owning them on BD was the way to go. I'm going to be selling back SAW I and II + The Descent over at my local FYE that gives cash for trade-ins + I have a few other DVD's that are going to be going so I can buy Resident Evil 2 on BD which is another title that I like.

I'm not going to go gungho like Will and get rid of my DVD's, just replacing my favs.
