    Kill Bill: Volume 1 - 5.0 out of 5.0 at Blu-ray.com

Kill Bill is just plain fun. It’s gory, over the top, brilliantly acted and surprisingly poignant. I’ve enjoyed the film for years and have eagerly been awaiting its release on Blu-ray. Disney hasn’t disappointed - - they’ve delivered a stunning, reference grade transfer that is as close to film as anything I’ve yet seen on Blu-ray. The film’s fantastic uncompressed PCM 5.1 soundtrack is completely enveloping and packs a punch that matches this set’s stunning picture quality. Kill Bill is a must-own title on Blu-ray and comes with my absolute highest recommendation!
Kill Bill: Volume 1 Blu-ray Release Date September 9, 2008. Blu-ray reviews, news, specs, ratings, screenshots. Cheap Blu-ray movies and deals.

    Kill Bill: Volume 2 - 5.0 out of 5.0 at Blu-ray.com

Kill Bill: Volume 2 serves as the final installment of Quentin Tarantino’s epic Kill Bill saga. Taking an abrupt turn from the frenetic action and relentless pace of the first film, Volume 2 settles down and allows the plot to progress at a more relaxed tempo. Character development is key in Kill Bill: Volume 2 and Tarantino has done a masterful job of breathing life into seemingly one-note personalities. On the video side of the equation, Disney has given Kill Bill: Volume 2 the royal treatment and this reference quality transfer is a true sight to behold. Audio is also expertly presented with an enveloping soundstage and occasional flourishes of action and excitement. Kill Bill: Volume 2 is an exceptional Blu-ray and comes with my highest recommendation!

The Proposition: Probably the Best Western to come along in a long time. Gritty & Violent. Not to mention the Audio & Video Transfer are great.. (Dolby True-HD "AUDIO" & VC-1 "VIDEO" encode)

Guy Pearce, Ray Winstone & John Hurt all star.. This can be had on amazon for under $15.00

It was $10.95 on Amazon for a week or so. I think it's gone back up now.

Kill Bill 1 and 2 are awesome on BR. I also got Miami Vice, haven't seen it yet and its still wrapped, not sure if i should keep it or return it, heard mixed reactions about it. What do you guys think?

I thought Miami Vice was terrible and apparently the BR video quality is nothing to write home about. I would return it because a year from now you should be able to get it for $10 or $12 since I'm sure it will end up in the Bluray bargain bin.

IMO, I'd return it. I have it on HD-DVD and only because it was super cheap ($7). The intentional grain drastically lowers the picture quality. I wasn't impressed.

The Godfather Collection: The Coppola Restoration scores a perfect 5.0 at Blu-Ray.com

This Blu-ray edition of The Godfather Collection is perhaps the most impressive set ever released on home video. Sure, other collections may have offered more supplemental features, more movies, and many have offered audio and video qualities that present to viewers and listeners that "modern" high definition experience, and all of that is absolutely wonderful. However, no other collection can boast three all-time classic films, so painstakingly restored and presented exactly as they should be, in line with the original theatrical presentations, beginning back on March 24, 1972, and spanning some 18 and a half years. Now, almost 18 more years after the third installment of the series first screened in theaters, The Godfather Collection is available to own in a package that director Francis Ford Coppola closely supervised during the year-long restoration; we can watch this new Blu-ray edition with the high expectation that the director himself has issued it with his own recommendation as to the presentation's quality. The set also contains a wealth of entertaining and insightful supplemental features. Despite this lengthy review, few need me to convey how good this set is. It speaks for itself, as do the films, and like the films contained thereon, The Godfather Collection on Blu-ray will go down in the annals of home video as one of the finest releases of all time. Leave the gun, take the cannoli, and buy the Blu-ray. This set easily receives my highest recommendation.
Full review here. Also Amazon is selling it for $61.95 a 50% savings.

                            The Mist scores a 4.5 at Blu-Ray.com

The Mist is a fantastic Horror movie with just the right combination of elements, not to mention directorial style, that make it a standout in the genre. The movie is bold in its ending and plays out with a different sort of dramatic flair that we don't see all that often in movies, and it comes across almost as unscripted and therefore very real. The throwback style of the film, hearkening back to some Monster Movie classics and featuring dialogue delivery in-line with such classics give the film a traditional feel in a world of contemporary cheap, uninteresting, and repetitious horror. Fans are even given the option, through this set, to experience the film in color or in Frank Darabont's preferred black and white version, which he calls his "director's cut." He had always envisioned shooting in black and white, and the inclusion of both versions is most welcome. Weinstein's Blu-ray release is a great one. Both the color and black and white version look good in high definition. The soundtrack features great atmospherics and imaging, but lacks punch in several scenes. The supplements are entertaining and informative, with the director's commentary being one of the better I've heard. The Mist is a different style of Horror movie than we're used to, and it's most refreshing; fantastically tense and bold in its direction, story, and ending. The Mist is highly recommended!
Full review here. I've only seen this movie once when it first came out on theatres, and thought it was ok. Might have to check this one out on Blu-Ray.

Yeah, i ended up returning it. Also, im glad i rented 88 minutes...that has to be one of the worse BRs out, the movie was good though.
