Love him or hate him, Drake pretty much shut down the Summer with his new joint.

      Dude is such a genius.

Hits up Tim Cook like "Yo when's that Cardi B album dropping? Word, make sure I've got a new song and video for all the ladies browsing Apple Music that day."

      Can't miss.

I feel like I'm liking music that I'm not supposed to lol.

I thought Cardi's label messed up by not pushing an album out right after Bodak Yellow and coming with Bartier Cardi as the second single, but after listening to her album there are probably 4-5 other songs on there that will end up on the radio.

Drake needs to let Cardi eat tho lol.

I actually like Cardi Bs album and I typically don’t like all these new mumble rap guys coming out. Probably because she comes in hard and not soft.

Cardi's debut album sold 254k first week, 105k pure album sales and 149k in streams. Huge numbers.

The people need that Pusha T album on May 25, he better not be bull****ting.

I'm not even sure how I feel about Kanye at this point. I didn't vibe with Pablo and even Yeezus was shaky to me, the only person in hip-hop on thinner ice than Kanye with me is probably Cudi lol. That collab album has potential to be great or awful.

So with this decade of hip-hop coming to a close relatively soon, where do you guys rank it compared to the 90s and 00s?

I'm starting to realize how much music tastes has to do with associating certain periods of your life and being 31 now, I definitely don't seek out the kinds of songs I was listening to in the 00s. When I've tried, I just haven't been able to get into anything probably since 2012-14. I'm just not down with the "mumble rap" and am meh on Drake.

With that said, I think I'd rank it:

                              - 00s
                              - 90s
                              - 10s

I'm sure my ranking is reflective of my age and my adolescence/early 20s being in the late 90s-mid 00s, but I'm curious on how others would rank them. I love the best of the 90s and would maybe even rank the best (Pac, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z) over the best of the 00s, but I have a wider-range of 00s songs on my playlists than 90s.

I thought this was his best work from top to bottom. Didn’t really find myself skipping thru tracks like I usually do.

Why’d you give him 0/5 on release timing?
