Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Fringe anyone?
They just haven't mentioned them any, they've been too wrapped up with the crossover, they are still in every episode though. I get the feeling that, once we see more of the machine, the watchers will be involved.
I'm glad they wrapped up the swapped Olivia arc though, I was growing weary of all that.Comment

Re: Fringe anyone?
No show has completely sucked me in more than this show, except for Lost, and even that's a stretch. It's crazy because I'm not a sci-fi fan in general, but it's just outstanding. I don't know how JJ Abrams continues to make such amazing TV.Kansas City Royals | FC Barcelona | New Orleans Pelicans

Re: Fringe anyone?
Yep. Fringe is an event for me. It's just awesome to know that a full season was ordered and we're still not even half way through it.
To me, a lot has happened in just 8 episodes.
But, it does seem that the writers are trying to wrap up this story arc this year since they are not sure if they'll survive into a 4th season.
Fringe is moving to Fridays starting in January. Never a good sign of support."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Fringe anyone?
From the last few episodes:
Observer Appearances...
In The Box, he enters the subway station just as Thomas Newton abandons the box in order to visit the lavatory.
In The Plateau, he is standing on the pedestrian overpass near Milo Stanfield as Milo throws a bicycle from it.
In Do Shapeshifters Dream Of Electric Sheep?, he transits the elevator lobby at Massive Dynamic while the science team meets nearby.
In Amber 31422, he lingers fifteen feet to the left of Olivia's parked vehicle when Agent Francis informs Colonel Broyles that her car is parked near the Riverdale Mutual quarantine site.
In 6955 kHz, he stands with the crowd behind the crime scene tape after Peter discovers that the shapeshifter's dorsal memory chip is broken.
In The Abducted, he stands across the street from the diner as Olivia and Henry Higgins wait for breakfast and talk.
In Entrada, he stands outside of Penn Station, next to a taxicab, while Bolivia Dunham meets a shapeshifter to receive harmonic implants."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Now that Fringe is fast becoming the best show on television, it's time to say goodbye. Starting in January, Fringe is giving up its slot to American Idol and moving to Fridays at 9 PM.
sigh...
Fox and Fridays
Perhaps the network which has received the most attention, and has become the most well-known for the "Friday Night Death Slot" has been Fox.[12]
The following are all examples of Fox shows that either started on Friday nights and lasted only a few episodes, or were moved to Friday nights, lost the battle for television ratings, and were eventually canceled.
<table class="wikitable" border="1" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="0"> <tbody><tr> <td>1993–94</td> <td>The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>1994–95</td> <td>M.A.N.T.I.S.</td> </tr> <tr> <td>1995–97</td> <td>Sliders on FOX</td> <td>Canceled and moved to Sci Fi Channel</td> </tr> <tr> <td>1995–96</td> <td>Strange Luck</td> </tr> <tr> <td>1995</td> <td>VR.5</td> </tr> <tr> <td>1998–99</td> <td>Brimstone</td> </tr> <tr> <td>1999–2000</td> <td>Greed</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2001</td> <td>The Lone Gunmen</td> <td>Moved to Friday midway through its first and only season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2001</td> <td>Pasadena</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2000–02</td> <td>Dark Angel</td> <td>Second and final season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2002–03</td> <td>Firefly[13]</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2002–03</td> <td>John Doe</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2003</td> <td>Fastlane</td> <td>Moved to Friday midway through its first and only season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2003</td> <td>Wanda at Large</td> <td>Second and final season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2004</td> <td>Playing It Straight</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2004</td> <td>Wonderfalls[13][14]</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2000–04</td> <td>Boston Public</td> <td>Fourth and final season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2005</td> <td>Jonny Zero</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2005</td> <td>Killer Instinct</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2000–06</td> <td>Malcolm in the Middle</td> <td>Seventh and final season (Final few episodes aired in original Sunday time slot.)</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2001–06</td> <td>The Bernie Mac Show</td> <td>Fifth and final season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2005–09</td> <td>Prison Break</td> <td>Moved to Friday midway through its fourth and final season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2006</td> <td>Justice</td> <td>Moved to Friday midway through its first and only season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2006</td> <td>Vanished[15]</td> <td>Moved to Friday midway through its first and only season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2006-10</td> <td>'Til Death</td> <td>Fourth and final season (Final few episodes aired on a Sunday time slot)</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2007</td> <td>The Wedding Bells[16]</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2006–07</td> <td>Standoff</td> <td>Moved to Friday midway through its first and only season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2007</td> <td>Nashville</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2008</td> <td>Canterbury's Law</td> <td>Moved to Friday midway through its first and only season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2008</td> <td>The Return of Jezebel James</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2008–09</td> <td>Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles</td> <td>Moved to Friday midway through its second and final season</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2007–09</td> <td>Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?</td> <td>Third season, last one on Fox. According to FOX Entertainment President Kevin Reilly, nearly half of Fringe's viewership time shifts the show to watch at their convinence, and that "if it does anywhere near what it did on Thursdays, we can glue that show to the schedule because it can be a big win for us".[17]
[edit] The X-Files (1993–2002)
At least one Fox show that premiered on Friday nights The X-Files, eventually became a success in its time slot at 9 p.m. As TV Guide described it, the audiences, especially in the college-aged demographic, would watch the show just prior to heading-out for Friday evening movies or partying, and quickly grew from 6% to 10% household ratings during sweeps. Several other shows were paired with The X-Files, including The Adventures of Brisco County Jr, M.A.N.T.I.S., V.R.5, Strange Luck, and Sliders, all of which were canceled by Fox. The show eventually moved to Sundays in 1996 ("Unruhe" Sunday Oct 27), and another Chris Carter show Millennium filled the empty timeslot at 9 p.m. In addition, America's Most Wanted aired in the 8:00 p.m. time slot for 3 seasons from 1990 to 1993.Comment

Re: Fringe anyone?
When he was making her dance, I couldn't help but think the same thing. Despite all of the crazy things that have happened on this show, the blood, the operations, the deaths, the twists, all of it, there was nothing more creepy than watching that guy make a dead girl dance.
I really feel like they are gearing up for the end. Seems like a lot of Character Arcs are being pushed quickly. Olivia finding out about Bolivia's involvement with Peter, her going off on Peter, I'm mostly surprised it all happened in one episode.
And now it seems that the Observer has to do something to Peter? I don't know. They made it very vague as if it could be Walter or Peter. The only thing is: Besides the obvious friendship, what deep, inside the heart stake does Olivia have in Walter?
It would make sense if she's forced to save Peter's life and thus rekindles her feelings for him - which would seem the obvious direction."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Fringe anyone?
Yeah, I don't think there's anyway she doesn't fall for him again. I'm not so sure about the end. This show has a pretty good following and it's at lease being moved to Fridays for a somewhat real reason. I know Fox doesn't fair well with Fridays, but if any show can do it, this one can. I'm not too pessimistic about the situation. There's still plenty of hope. When he was making her dance, I couldn't help but think the same thing.
