Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I don't know why anyone would read the book first when it comes to this movie. With movies like Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Twilight, etc, that are books being adapted into movies then I understand, but for this it makes no sense. You might as well just go read whatever spoilers are floating around online.
I'll definitely be reading TDKR, though. I don't read books, so this will be the first in a long time for me. Movie comes before.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

That's what I'm thinking, but then there are people like my sister who heard The Hunger Games was out and got good reviews, but she hadn't yet read the book, so she borrowed it from a friend and finished it in two days just so she could see the movie afterwards. I'm sitting here, thinking: why spoil yourself with the movie by reading the book? I don't know, but I just didn't understand that logic. At the very least, I suppose they are viewed in order that way, but still.

No Country For Old Men is still the only example I can think of that the movie was better. Girl With a Dragon Tattoo is close as well.Comment

Eh. That movie is 100% guilty pleasure viewing and that suit is straight out of an S&M title.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
The Dark Knight Rises to feature over an hour of IMAX footage; new trailer attached to The Avengers
Back in November 2010, it was rumored that director Christopher Nolan might shoot all of The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX. In May 2011, Warner Bros. sent out a press release saying that while not all of the movie would be shot in IMAX, the technology would be used “even more extensively” than it was in The Dark Knight, which contained about 40 minutes of IMAX. Then in December, Steve spoke with producer Emma Thomas and learned that the movie could feature more than 40 – 50 minutes of IMAX footage. Today, The Wall Street Journal reports that there will be “more than one hour’s worth” of IMAX footage in The Dark Knight Rises. Aw, yeah. Finally, if you missed it, the new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises will premiere in front of The Avengers next week. Read about it here.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Re: The Dark Knight Rises
1:40 mark. What is JGL doing there? Raising his hands in the air in fear? Or does he have some kind of powers? I know hes just supposed to be a cop in the movie but I speculate he plays a bigger "secret" role.Comment
