That's a pretty good idea.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Any Jon & Kate watchers out there?
The show has become beyond terrible, Ive been drug into watching it and while I could stomach it before, now its just impossible for me to sit through it. I dont know if its the lack of drama involved or not but there is definitely something missing. On a side note, I read that Jon may very well be booted from the show anyways thanks to some contract breaches I guess and the rumor is he may be doing it all on purpose to get his own reality show that would be based on celebrity divorced fathers or something like that. I also read something interesting that the funds from the show are put into a joint bank account that they still share but because Kate has been deemed the more responsible parent she has total control over the finances, or in other words Jon has to basically ask for any type of money outside of the money he needs for everyday things. It goes on to say that the money in the account at the time of the divorce was split and while Jon burned through his money Kate actually setup savings accounts for the kids college education. Clearly I dont know how much of this is real considering the source is TMZ but I thought it was worth mentioning and maybe someone can pop in and add something to this if they have additional information.Comment

I find this interesting. After all this is your quote to my post.

How many times do I have to write this? Its still TLC's highest rated show! Its still a top 5 show on cable TV! Ive said several times in this thread that its stupid to expect this show to continue to do 10 million or even 5 million. On average before the drama, the show was doing in the 1.5-2 range. ****, if the show drops to a 1, thats still a successful show on cable (especially on TLC).
The only issue is that they are overexposed right now but thats nothing that a few weeks of keeping them off interview shows cant change. The show will never do a 5 or better again (unless something dramatic like them getting back together happens) but that doesnt mean people arent watching the show. The people who watched before the drama are still watching the show and thats all that matters. The people who werent fans and watched because J&K were in the tabloids are the reason the ratings are at a 3 now because they stopped watching.Comment

Gotcha, its not like TMZ is the definition of journalism but figured it was worth mentioning with the intent that someone with more knowledge then myself could chime in.Comment

Re: Any Jon & Kate watchers out there?
LOL. I wasnt wrong. Never said that 10 million people would keep watching the show. Actually you are. The show doesnt air on on A&E ...it airs on TLC. As a guy who works for TLC, I can tell you that no one at TLC thought that the show would keep 10 million or even 5 million viewers. Doesnt matter we both know that you love to base your opinions off incorrect information or nothing at all.Comment

Re: Any Jon & Kate watchers out there?
I know of it and I refuse to get sucked in. This is basically professional wrestling. Anyone consider that this is all staged and no one is divorcing or doing anything to anyone and they're just getting a nice chunk of change out of this?Comment

Re: Any Jon & Kate watchers out there?
I'm in the camp that briefly got sucked into watching it because of all the drama that was going on. I don't have to watch it to follow them because their dirt is all over the tabloids and gossip shows. I will say, though, Jon is having one heckuva midlife crisis, LOLComment

But we can agree they are losing viewers for what ever reason though right? And that really was my point. Just kidding.
