Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
Reservoir Dogs-I loved it. I knew I would like it with Quentin Tarantino directing it and it didn't disappoint. Some of the dialogue in this movie was classic, I loved the 1st scene with Steve Buscemi and his views on tipping. And throughout the whole movie Buscemi or Mr. Pink was my favorite character. 8/10Ohio State - Reds - Bengals - Blackhawks - BullsComment

lilbently, That film was a re-doing of a Hong Kong film called "City on Fire" that stared Chow Yun-Fat. If you can find it's worth seeking out.follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/eton_riflesComment

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
Watched a really good Boris Karloff movie last night called THE BODY SNATCHER (1945) It was not horrific but it was rather macabre. Karloff actually did some great acting with his character. The movie kinda dragged at times but overall it was pretty good.
I also saw GILDERSLEEVE'S GHOST (1944) The main characters come from the old radio comedy series THE GREAT GILDERSLEEVE. There were 6 other movies based on the series and a TV series in 1955 as well. Anyways this was your typical haunted house story with comedy thrown in with a mad doctor, a gorilla and a female ghost. Sounds like it could be ripe for comedy huh? Not really, it was a bit forced and some of the humor just didn't click. I'd pass on this one. I haven't seen the other Gildersleeve movies but i'm hoping they were better then this.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Disney and Pixar's UP 9.0
Truly one of their better movies. The animations was of course Pixar quality in terms of awesomeness and the voice acting and story were great. It was in all essence perfect. They definitely did a good job with the emotions carried from the old man and the kid.
Hope their next original movie is just as goodComment

I just finished watching the Joe Strummer documentary, The Future Is Unwritten. It was done very well and pretty interesting to me. I would recommend to anybody who is a fan of the Clash or punk rock music in general.

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
Despite really being against remakes I ended up watching Friday the 13th,between no HD movie source and the Halloween sale on 360 making it reasonably priced (as opposed to the entirely outlandish prices they normally are on XBL) I decided to get it. I went for the attitude of it being another sequel as opposed to remake and it was enjoyable. Nothing spectacular but not bad. Most of the characters were unlikable enough that it was fun to watch them die, kinda like Cloverfield but it was all the characters I was hoping died in that.
On a side note people that think digital movie rental is in the near future are out of their minds. It was something like 4.3 gigs and took somewhere between 1.5 and 2.5 hours to DL. (I'm not really sure because I had to stop it twice and also had to go back to rental store because they didn't give me the 2nd disc with Forza.)Comment

I'm not technically sure if Will Ferrell's "You're Welcome America: A Final Night With George W. Bush" is a movie, but I am sure that, without getting political, I loved every second of it.
I also watched Ghostbusters today. Remember when Bill Murray was awesome? Like, pre-Space Jam?Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: What movies have you seen recently? Part 1
I should've specified Bill Murray's movies. He's still hilarious when he's on like late night shows.
Full disclosure: I have yet to see Lost In Translation, so I have yet to see why he was nominated for the myriad of awards he was nominated for because of that movie.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Oh man Lost In Translation is one of my top favorites, probably top 3. I don't know what he whispered in her ear, but whatever it was I bet it was just right.
I saw Black Christmas last night and it was a complete waste of time.PS: You guys are great.
