      Django Unchained:

Nowhere near a QT best, but still a fun watch.

      Hit and Run:

Pretty generic storyline. Movie wasn't long so it was saved by a few really funny moments, Tom Arnold, and the cute, cute smile of Kristen Bell <3

        Iron Man 3

I'm a Robert Downey Jr. mark so I was going to like this either way. The story was certainly the weakest of the 3 IM films, but that's not to say it was terrible. The PTSD angle tied in actions from The Avengers nicely and really gave Stark some depth of character. The interactions with the kid were really good, too.

I also enjoyed seeing Potts getting to be a bit of a bad-***. Thought that was a ice touch and shows how the Potts-Stark relationship continues to evolve.

I was disappointed in the "twist" in regards to the villain, but again, nothing that made me say, oh my, that's horrible.

Anyone else surprised this wasn't a Christmas release since there are a ton of referencs to the holiday in the film?

All in all, a good film and I'll get the blu-ray when it is released, but honestly, at this point I'm a bit burned out on all the Superhero films.

          Monsters Inc. University

I had no intentions of watching this but ended up doing so since I was so bored. No regrets at all. Good movie with lots of funny parts.

A lot of people disagreed with me on here a while back but I liked Inglorious Basterds more than Django Unchained...

I thought Basterds was a much better movie. Django kind of dragged on a bit and didn't feel as fluid as QT's other movies. It was still epic though.

Just saw Into the Wild. It was as awesome as I heard from word of mouth. Made me want to reread the book.

Absolutely agree. Still loved the performances of DiCaprio and Waltz in particular. This is the first time I haven't enjoyed a Sam Jackson performance and I love the guy. I'm one of those QT fans that believe he needed Sally in the editing room, RIP Sally.

I always gush to people about the film and the book (and Eddie's soundtrack, which I have worn out the cd! LOL). Great stuff. First time I've seen Kristen Stewart was watching this film (missed Panic Room until recently), and I thought she was fantastic. Emile Hirsch should have at least got an Oscar nomination for this.

I laughed at Samuel L. Jackson several times early on.

I feel like I usually have to watch most QT movies a few times to really soak everything up. This one was a bit different.

I think I prefer Inglorious Basterds too. I just love how he sort of rewrote history. I purchased the Blu Ray on the day it came out. I need to go hunt Django too.

Hell, Pulp Fiction stays in my Netflix Instant Q because I watch it once every few months.

I agree. I never appreciated how much she meant to QT's movies until Django came out. It just made a big difference for me.

                            Snitch.

Could've been about 20 minutes shorter. Really dragged to develop and even when it did it was only decent.

                              Somewhere In Time (1980)

I remembered my parents watching this when I was a kid and my wife and I watched it on Netflix last night. Hadn't seen it in probably 14 years but we enjoyed it. Early Christopher Reeve and he was a great actor.

Pretty cool story about time travel.

I think I wrote about this on this thread. It was a very interesting movie indeed. I'm not into the super romantic type movies but this one had my interest.
