We go from stories on Sawyer and Richard to Jin and Sun next week... Not to mention the guy who wrote this season flat out worst epsiode, "What Kate Does" also wrote this one. Let's hope he redeems himself.

Sun made mention that she is one of the candidates to replace Jacob. I'm thinking that the candidate is actually Jin and not Sun and that is why she was not "flashed" off the Ajira flight like the other Losties that are candidates were. Any thoughts on this?

That's a good theory. I also think it is him, and not her. The only thing that makes me doubt this is it makes sense three would be on each side:

Jack/Hurley/Sun and Kate/Sawyer/Sayid

The name listed was also Jin's last name. I believe Sun's name changed and if Jacob followed each of these individuals, it would have been Jin's name.

The whole "It's me," from Sun is another smokescreen.

I wonder if somehow one of the Kwon's don't make it. I definitely wouldn't be looking forward to either one of them being gone (take Kate for pete's sake) but I wonder if the last shot in the preview showing Sun lying scrawled across the jungle ground is any precursor to her happening to be someone that doesn't make it...

Also quick question, I don't remember...Jin doesn't know that Sun had the baby yet does he?

He would have to. It was three years ago. Nobody "told" him, perse; so unless he thinks the baby died he would have to know.

Well, if you listen to the official lost podcasts, it's been confirmed that it was the Black Rock in the S5 finale.

And that doesn't scream continuity error to me. When you see it in Season 5 it is pretty far away on a bright and sunny day. It would take them a while to get to the actual Island, and we know how quickly weather changes on the Island.
