I am officially a Android guy now....Just upgraded my Iphone 4 to a Samsung Galaxy S II for the low price of 9.99(with a 2 year agreement). Love the phone, but just getting used to the new UI and the way that Android works. Without searching this entire thread, would someone please do me a favor and give me a top 5 of apps that I must get for my phone.
I just picked up 2 of these for me and my wife and it's an impressive phone. We love it.

Handcent, much better sms app then stock.
SwiftKey X, best keyboard that suited me. I don't like the swype keyboards.
Jorte, I tried a lot of calendar/organizer/scheduler apps and settled here.
Office Suite, will handle any word, excel, powerpoint, pdf you need.

Love SwiftKey X and got it for free on the Amazon App store. Highly recommended checking their store out as they have good and pricey apps free daily.
Hey guys, I was pretty set on an iPhone but I am having second thoughts now. The fact the 4S isn't 4g and the screen size are nagging me. I am also worried about the iPhone 5 coming out in a few months and being screwed.
With that said, if I stick with Android (Have the Droid X now) can someone give me the 2 or 3 best phone choices that are out now? I have Verizon by the way.
I played around with the Droid Razr the other day and not sure if I like it. It reminds me too much of my X.

I have my Galaxy Nexus and love it. I haven't rooted yet, which is amazing for me.
No problems whatsoever, and being built for ICS is just icing on the cake.

Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!
Ended up getting the Galaxy Nexus today. Great phone except I am not getting a 4G signal and not even getting any bars on 3G. I'm not sure what the hell is going on.
I should add that my house is in a strong 4G area.

If I were you i'd stick it out with the Droid X and wait for the next iPhone and the new Android offerings ths spring/summer. No need to get a new dual core phone when Quad core phones will be out later this year. Damn shame that dual-core will only have been the standard for one year. I got my Galaxy S2 off contract in December. I had plan to go iPhone and was disappointed when the 4S was announced. I still have my upgrade so I'm waiting for the next iphone and android offerings this summer to see where i'll go. I will say i'm starting to get frustrated with Android the same as I did with Blackberry. As soon as you think you have the latest/greatest, just wait a month and that'll change lol.

Edit: I see you got the Nexus. Good choice.
I hear what you are saying, but there is always gonna be a bigger better phone. I guess you just have to pick one and stick with it.
As an addendum to my last post, I removed the sim card and put it back in and now I am getting some 4G inside and getting some strong 4G outside. So I guess I can live with that since I absolutely love the phone.
My buddy who works with Sprint said its normal for a phone to go in and out of 4G at this point.
The only thing that I find strange is that when its in 3G its not getting any bars. My X consistently got 3 bars in my house. Weird.
