Yep. Actually really like the look of the turtles.

I know lots of people talk about disliking the dark modernization of old stuff but I'm all for it.

Give me a darker, grittier Ninja Turtles. I would watch that movie over another one of the 90s movies. I'm past that.

So long as the personalities are in tact then I don't have a problem making their NYC to be a paranoid, military state like the real one. It should provide a nice contrast.

As long as Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines, Raphael is cool, but crude, and Michelangelo is a party dude, I am good.

For some reason, I'm somewhat impressed. I had my doubts, the first being how good would the CG be? and frankly just from that snippet, they look pretty good. I'm really liking their new look and their size, they're much bigger and taller then the average turtles were in the movies and comics.

With this and Godzilla this summer, I'm pumped

Trailer looked pretty decent i may rent it unless my nephews really want to see it in the movie theater.

The only thing I don't like is the lifeless shell of a woman Megan Fox is.

Otherwise, yeah, I'll see it. And I'll pay to see it. **** it, I like mindless movies sometimes.

Now that looks amazing. Megan Fox as April O'Neil would've been totally forgiven if the turtles would've looked like that.

Instead they look frightening. I mean, why give them noses, those creep lips? It ain't too late, I don't think. It'd cost some money, but since they're CGI it shouldn't be hard for them to go back in and swap out the faces with ones that aren't total garbage.

Also, people need to stop blaming Micheal Bay. He's attached, but he didn't write or direct it. Though...maybe he did cast and make suggestions on the design choices...

Definitely agree with the creepy looking faces. Where did they get human out of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

You answered your own question. They're mutants. They got it from the mutagen. In the old cartoon the mutagen transforms anyone that comes in contact with it into the animal they last had contact with. In the case of the turtles, it was a human hence them being half turtle/half man. So it makes sense to me that they'd have some humanoid features like lips, fingernails and a hint of a nose.

The walking on two legs, doing karate, and speaking was human enough for me. These new turtles just look weird.
