There's not too much to base an opinion on from that trailer, which I guess is a good thing.

The only thing I can really say is that I don't care much for the design of the turtles.

Megan Fox is going to keep me from wanting to see this.

Agree with Blue here. Also not a fan of the decision to go purely CGI either.

That's one of the things that made the first two great to me. Was the gritty style of visuals and the fact their presence in a human world was made to be somewhat believable.

This felt like a typical over the top Michael Bay production with huge cartoon characters. I'll most likely end up passing.

And to reiterate, why does the lighting look exactly like Transformers? lol

I have to agree with Blue and 13 as well. I don't like the design of the turtles.

I also agree with Fresh. Really? Megan Fox. If I had any chances of liking this movie, I'm sure she will ruin it for me.

I loved the first two movies when I was a kid, I know this one will probably not hold a candle to them. We'll see I guess.

Honestly, the actual TMNT stuff (aside from April) seems to be very much on point (the mask joke was actually good), but its the world, story, and the origin (teaser made it seem like April's father and Shredder were a part of it) is what kind of conflicts with itself.

                  Harsh crowd.

Looked like almost any other movie based off a comic to me. Going to keep an open mind. What's the beef with Megan Fox? It's a TMNT movie. Not like anyone involved is shooting to grab Oscar nominations.

This thing was doomed to be ragged on the day Bay's named was attached to it. Can't say the initial reaction is surprising.

I'm with you. No I'm probably not gonna pay to see it at the theaters, but I'm damn sure gonna check it out. It's TMNT. I'm a sheep.

I'm just happy this thing is really coming to fruition as a live action movie after all these years.

Since when do turtles have noses? (it looks like a nose on Michelangelo)

Seriously, I'm not the biggest fan of Bay and his acolytes who all seem to have a similar look and feel to their movies though this looks very slightly different. As for the Shredder/April's father thing it looks like they're taking cues from the cartoon/comic books so that's not a big deal unless it involves aliens in some ways.

Anywho, I think it looks okay though to me Megan Fox is box office poison. I'll still watch this movie mainly because I loved the first two live action movies. I wish they had gone with the Henson Company this time around and added CGI when necessary rather than actual people who are completely CGI'ed but that's a minor problem.

I won't see it in theaters but I'm actually more impressed after that trailer than I was regarding this film.

I have never understood the people who take this franchise seriously.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I believe you're right but Bay didn't direct it so i'm sure their interaction was minimal at best.
