I love the look of the new suit a nice mix from past costumes from the comics and movies.

The "S" looks a little funny to me, but the suit looks good, overall.

I hope the cape has the yellow S on it too.

Does anyone else notice a bit of a resemblance to Tom Welling in this pic?

He looks more intimidating than Welling to me.

I'm liking what I see! The S looks kinda enormous for the suit though.

Does anyone else find his hair to be ugly? I'm just not getting a Superman vibe with that hair at all. I hope they change that! Although a different angle might make it look more Supermanly.

I always liked the S with the hair.. this new superman looks like he's 60 years old going through a mid life crisis.

I like it. Honestly, it sounds strange, but i'm more excited for this than Batman. Not that i'm not looking forward to Batman, quite the opposite actually. But Superman has really never been done justice in terms of just how much power he has, and despite what everyone thinks of him as a hero (I know most people hate the idea of Superman), he's ALWAYS been my favorite superhero.

I'm glad that they seem to be embracing just how powerful he is, as shown in the pic. It's not the typical "Americana" pose we're used to with Superman. It looks like he's about to kick some a**.

Agree with this 100%. I can't wait for the new batman movie but Superman is my fav as well.

With his powers etc and the special effects now available I think this has a chance to be truly e-p-i-c. Don't like the hair though either.

Yeah Superman has always been my favorite, I remember my parents taking me to see Superman The Movie when I was very young and I was hooked from that moment on. Looking at this picture it looks like he has just been thrown against this steel vault or whatever it is and is picking himself back. Maybe he's in a huge brawl against Zod.

I just wanted to make one note about the picture, and that is I wouldn't put it past Snyder if this was the actual color timing they were going for with this film, as opposed to this maybe just being promotional art with featured touch-ups for the sake of holding artistic merit. Seeing what he's done with 300, Watchmen, and Sucker Punch, I can imagine him draining some saturation from the picture, and really throwing out the dark tones in the crimson and royal hues. It will certainly be interesting.

Yeah i could certainly see this being "Snyderised" visually.

I can see it now. Lois Lane in a tight school girls outfit and a shirtless superman screaming "THIS IS SMALLVILLE!" while kicking Zod into outer space.
