    Re: Superman Man Of Steel

There was quite a few nods to Superman The Movie in this film including a cameo from a STM actor one that I didn't see until Jim Bowers at caped wonder pointed it out thats pretty cool.

Some people are saying in this scene for a split second they superimposed Christopher Reeve's face onto Henry Cavil's as a nod to STM it's hard to see but I think it's there.

I think they just look a like in that scene.

Saw this the other day. I agree that it was superimposed as a tribute. Watch the bridge of the nose as Reeves is decidely thinner.

            Re: Superman Man Of Steel

I saw this this weekend and thought it was pretty good. It did run a little long and watch SM/foe being rammed through buildings or dragged along the road did get old after awhile. It would have been nice if they were a little more diverse than that. Lastly, despite being a huge Michael Shannon fan, I didn't really care for Zod as a villain. I wouldn't say that I disliked him, I just didn't love him like I originally thought I would.

Overall, though I really did like it and look for to a sequel.

I think people are just seeing what they want to see. I don't doubt they certainly look a like in that scene, but I think it's highly unlikely they superimposed Christopher Reeve's likeness over Cavill's. Feel free to prove us wrong (or right), producers!!

'78 Supes die-hards will probably consider this the high-point of the film.

If Disney can work in a giant pecker on the minister in a scene from The Little Mermaid or *poof* the work "SEX" mixed in the blowing leafs in The Lion King, I'm pretty sure editing guys could do this.

                  No doubt.

But I'm sure it would require them to ask Christopher Reeve's son or whoever to use his likeness.

If you look closely, you can see Jonah Hill's face too.

I got that off another site. But I'm sure my time was superimposed in the screencap without me knowing.

I just got back from seeing again and for a fact it is in there. For some reason right at that moment that his face showed the projector paused. Don't know why but it did. My 70 year old mom even nudged my and said hey that's Christopher Reeve. It was a great tribute.
