Input lag is pretty subpar. My Sony 4k and LG LM7600 outperform it in terms of lag input by far.

For the record XxJustAguessxX, no 2013 plasmas will give you a superb lag-free experience. This includes the Samsung F8500. My D7000 blows it out of the water when it comes to response time.

Would a 4K t.v. be better for gaming on the PS4 and Xbox one than plasma's and led's?

          ..........yes

My Sony 4k has the least amount of lag I've ever had on any TV.

I'm buying my set tomorrow but my buddy is trying to coax me into the Panny 60st60 over the Samsung UN60F6300. I will be Watching alot of sports on my tv and for that the panny would be great but I really dread having to break in my tv with chances of burn in. Also I play slot of games and I've heard the input lag is not so great.

CNet is definitely not the gospel of tv reviews, but FWIW they gave the Panny a 5 out of 5 and editors choice award. The Sammy got 3 1/2 out of 5 stars. The Panny having the edge in picture quality because of deep blacks (inherent advantage of plasmas). The chink in the armor being input lag.

If it's not going in a room with a lot of light, I would seriously consider the plasma. Burnout isn't a concern if you do 2 things the first 2 months: watch content that fills the screen and lower the contrast (something in the low to mid 50s). DO NOT USE VIVID mode. It'll seem dark at first til your eyes adjust to it.

You'll still see some image retention but that's normal and temporary.

If you do not break in plasmas with slides then you will never get to the picture quality that any reviews like cnet are at. All the major places break in their plasmas and then calibrate them. Break in means slides. It's balancing the phosphors out so the colors are on a equal level. So, that's what you'll need to do for 150-200 hours to get that 5 out of 5 rated tv...

Sounds like alot of trouble for something that costs 1500.00 to not even be able to get the most out of it possibly for at least the first two months. My tv will be in a dark room though.

If you want a plasma, the VT60 is on sale right now, $1999 for the 60". The 55" is $1599. If you want a good plasma for gaming, the VT60 is it. I would still recommend following the break in slides. The VT60 is the lowest I'd go in the Panasonic line.

The Samsung UN60F6300 looks like my TV for my price range. If I get some motion blur during sports I'll just turn off motion flow from what I've heard and it will be just fine with minimal blur.

If you can swing it, the 6400 has micro dimming, which will help out getting you some deeper black closer to a plasma...The price difference is usually only like $100-200...

$200 difference at best buy. I just don't know if it justifies paying it. The un60f6300 seems like it has better overall reviews.
