Would you guys buy an LG OLED 65 inch tv from eBay? I'm looking at the seller and he's 100% rating. He's selling the tv for almost $1000 cheaper than Best Buy or Amazon and ships from Brooklyn the Borough I live in for free. It almost sounds too good to be true, but the person/store has sold over 800 TVs lol. I'm so tempted to pull the trigger, but I know the 2017 models are right around the corner..

Seems legit. Just won't be a new TV is all.

I never buy used electronics. It says brand new sealed on the listing. I want to pull the trigger but don't know if I should just wait until the 2017 models come to see how much better they are.

While true, the new OLED's don't seem to be offering much. New wallpaper model, no more curved sets and they removed 3D. Doesn't seem to be the year. But now that Sony is in the market and Samsung found something to uncrack in their LED's, you can expect that 2018-2020 should find some good jumps for sure.

According to CNET the 2017 models have a higher color gamut and get 25% brighter. They also have 4 different HDR formats. I wouldn't get the W model. That's too much money. I'd only get the C or B model..

LG B7 series, its cheapest OLED TVs, will match picture quality of its most expensive

OLED TVs from LG deliver the best image quality we've ever tested, and in 2017 that picture gets even better. Now we just have to wait for pricing.

^ Right, no totally. They'll also be 2.1 compatible with Dolby Vision and such. I just wouldn't be dipping in yet. 2016 seems to be nearly as "impressive." I think motion resolution is still the big one for me. They still need to hone in on that.

Artman jumped on that 65" OLED. Firmware updates have reduced HDR Gaming to about 25 ms.

Also LG said they will be updating 2016 models via firmware to add HLG.

As for brightness, this year's models get plenty bright.

Wait 25ms? How is that good? Isn't 2ms what's expected by high end gaming monitors? I'm confused

You're confusing monitor response times to input lag. Monitors are usually around 10ms input lag, but don't hold a candle to the picture quality of OLEDS or even any of the better LCD TVs. Any TVs in the twenties is great. The lower the better, but 25ms is great.

Took my Sony 930d back and purchased an open box 55" B6 Oled for $1350 at Best Buy. Picture is already better, now about to install the new firmware

Have an small dilemma. Best Buy in store price on the Oled is 1799 vs 1999 online which in return makes open box 1583 in store vs 1789 online. Well in store is running a promotion for an extra 10% off open box and still then I talked them into taking tax off since I was returning a tv. Well the problem is they are giving away an 150 bb gc with the sku of the B6 Oled online it applied new and open box. Should I be entitled to my GC also??

For you Samsung KS8000 owners - should I be worried about this panel separation issue?

I ask because I still plan to buy the 65" KS8000 but I can save some money (about $200) if I buy through an online store. However, if this is a real, valid issue maybe I should spend the extra $200 and buy local at Best Buy for an easy return if I get a set that has this affliction.

                              What do you guys think?
