Thanks guys, I think i'm going to go midtower, go for the Corsair 460x case.



What are your guy's recommendation for graphic cards if I want to take full advantage of my monitor? (Asus ROG ultra wide 34")



I also have a 4k tv so I might use that too but will likely keep it at my desk.

Pretty case. I've read can be a bitch to build in with managing cables.

Thanks bro, I was going to go much simpler but once I got going I just couldn't help myself. Haven't built a true gaming pc ever, just a regular one as a media center in 2012.

Thought since I got the Asus Rog 34" monitor that this was the right time.

Gonna start buying games on Steam and I'm assuming I can just transfer the files from my laptop to the pc once its done.

Do any of you guys have a small case? I'm wanting to start planning to build a pc but want to avoid putting it all in a huge case.

I been out of the loop since 2012 so not sure what to look for. Wanting to game and start using Steam.

I do want to get the i7 chip, and a pretty decent graphics card. Will get an ssd and probably 16 gb of ram to start.

I seen cubes and mini cases, but not sure if those can hold a good graphics card without over heating.

Also note that I just ordered a Asus Rog PG34Q for my everyday monitor and to video edit.

Little late to this since you already bought your case but I have a Ncase M1 and I freaked love it. My main focus on my build was putting as much power as I could in as small of a case as I could since I travel quite a bit and I'd say I succeeded. As far as mini ITX components and temperatures go, I really did not have to make any concessions. I have a modest OC on my 6700k and I have a Titan X(yes it fits), I ran multiple stress tests and she performed beautifully. Since I built it I haven't had a single issue.

Looking back the only change I would have made was getting more ram, I play cities skylines and that game can utilize up to 32G. I have 8x2 but should have went with 16x2.

Nice setup. Two things I could recommend to cut some costs if needed. Another would be Windows 10 as you can get it from Kinguin.net or Play Asia for around $30.

Don't do the 3gb video card, upgrade to the 6gb...for the small amount of money it is worth it from what I've read
