Yeah that’s solid, the nitro has been a a great budget gaming laptop and with a 2060 you’ll run games pretty smooth. The brightness on the screen is not the best so if you’re editing I would connect another screen to it.

Looked up a video on it and its easy to upgrade ram and there’s a slot for a 2.5 drive.

My guess, which is probably wrong, is that the 3090 won't be a consumer card, so I wouldn't expect a ti version. I'd expect the 3080 to be the top consumer card that gets a ti version at some point.

Yeah 3080ti was already confirmed. 3090 might be this series version of the Titan.

That's my expectation as well the 3090 is the name of the Titan, which typically doesn't have a TI version.

Is it worth it to have both SSD and HDD?

I know the SSD will increase the boot times and HDD is a great place to store your files but I'm just wondering if it's worth the additional cost to get both.

            TIA

SSD is cheap now, so just get 2 SSDs. I have 3 SSDs in my PC.

If you're talking massive storage space (> 3TB) for media and whatnot, you should definitely go HDD as a secondary drive.

As cheap as SSD's are now, you'll still get more bang for your buck with a HDD in that scenario. But, only if you're looking for strictly storage space. Otherwise your best bet is an SSD and another down the road if you need it.

                Really depends on your use.

Does anyone have a LGA 1155 socket motherboard for sale? Or know where I can find one not $100.

Don’t bother with HDDs anymore unless for cold storage.

That's the laptop I have that I reviewed for Best Buy but the graphics card isn't as good and it's a really good laptop I think...with that graphics card it'll be ridiculously good I think!!!!

Just picked two 2TB SSD drives to replace some aging HDD. Like easily 10 years old lol. I have multiple external USB 3.0 drives but wanted to be able to load all my games, apps, and other stuff on these and save the externals for just movies, TV shows, and digital download stuff, music, etc. Went with a cheap brand but had good reviews so we'll see. They set me back $189.99 each. But other then upgrading my GPU I am set for the foreseeable future.

$189.99 for a 2 TB SSD?! That's a really good deal if those things perform well.

Yep. They were dirt cheap on Newegg. Literally never heard of the brand so we'll see. Crossing my fingers because that price was crazy good.

Anyone here have any experience going from a 27 inch 16:9 to a 32 inch 16:9?

I wouldn’t want to do 4K, would stick with 1440p. Thinking of upgrading to a 32, but not sure if it’s worth it at 1440p

I have a 32 4K and I use it for console gaming or as a second screen for my laptop setup.

I also have 1440p 27” and 34 ultrawide for my main rig. For gaming the 27” wins all day unless I’m playing a single player game because it’s 165hz.

It all depends on your sitting distance. For my desk a 27 inch is the best for me in my normal sitting position. On the 32, I’ll sit back about 18 inches.
