Any of you have knowledge of this card? After rebate, and selling the Far Cry 3 it comes with, it can be had for around $50.

Candy you're good, except I'd go with the i5 3570k instead of the i7. You're going to be spending over a $100 more for an extremely small and unnoticeable difference in performance when it comes to gaming. Getting a 7970 instead of the 7870 will provide a bigger performance boost than the i5 vs i7. Either that or use the money on an SSD for your OS.PS: You guys are great.

Yeah it's fine as long as you understand that it's entry level and you won't be playing the graphics intensive games at the highest settings with high framerates. It does get Tom's Hardware recommendation for it's price point though. Here's a link to the review and you can check out the benchmarks for the kind of performance you can expect.

I'd seriously consider canceling the order and re-doing it with those recommendations. I'm really not sure that the i7 helps you at all with upgrade potential. Unless you get into a hobby that demands a PC with such great processing power and insane amounts of RAM.Last edited by SuperBowlNachos; 03-24-2013, 10:19 AM.Comment

I could probably add that one to my current PC until I get all the parts to the one I'm slowly building. I'm sure it would be a pretty significant upgrade to the x1300 Pro my computer came with.Last edited by cubsfan203; 03-24-2013, 02:40 PM.Fan of....

It's really going to depend on the game and what resolution you play at but yeah, I think so. What is playable is largely on you and what you're comfortable with, but I'd shoot for 30fps and up.PS: You guys are great.

I'm so flipping excited for my PC to come however I got a couple of questions:
1. How much Ram is Overkill? I got 2x4gb of RAM. I think I still got more room to upgrade it but was wondering if it's needed?(Image of Specs are a few posts up)
2. I got a case with a built in power supply. Say I wanted to upgrade it down the line would I need a new case + the extra power supply or could I just add the extra power to the one I got?PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os
