Not familiar with high end monitors, but seems like a pretty good deal. It's still $700 on Amazon.

It does, not sure why they don't list it but it's there.

That thing probably runs like a beauty.

I love it. Looks like a Corsair 800D case, which is absolutely gigantic.

I want to do that one day, but not with a machine I have now. I'd rather do it on a trial crappy machine first... though not red. Ew.

Can anyone recommend a good, cheap headset that would only be used for Mumble/Ventrilo? Don't need a gaming headset, just something to come in clearly with when talking. Also preferable for it not to be super sensitive on background noise since the positioning of my ceiling fan and a/c vent causes my more sensitive headsets (like my Turtle Beach and my official Sony PS3 Bluetooth headset) to pick up the ceiling fan.

Yeah, I'd just pick up one of those 10-20 buck headsets like people wear at a call center...pretty sure a not too expensive one would work for you.

                          $1-$20

No system sound. Will be gaming on console (Final Fantasy XIV for PS3 on a TV) while voice chatting on Mumble on PC for raids and such.

Any recommendations for a free benchmarking utility to test temperatures? I don't have heat issues, but I got bored and purchased two fans and just want to see if there ends up being any difference.

My new monitor. My son gets my old Dynex 42" http://www.viewsonic.com/us/cdp4237-l.html

It'll be here Thursday. I'll be able to match it up with my 22" ViewSonic, color wise. I couldn't believe it was actually an IPS panel. 120hz, to boot. I paid $775 for it. Editing rig is almost done! Get my first videocamera tomorrow. It's a Panasonic HVX200a. Second one will be here Wednesday....
