Robert Downey Jr. will be in the movie. And Keaton has formally passed on being the villain.

Good move on two fronts. It'll be hard to out-do Alfred Molina's Doc Ock rendition...the best Spidey villain portrayed to date imo. I wouldn't mind seeing Green Goblin re-done. Really disliked the Wal-Mart masked version in Spidey 1. Mysterio would be cool, but it's a hokey film name.

It's bad when a cosplay guy looks almost as good as the "real thing".

Sandman was well done, but so wasted in #3.

I'm hearing this is going to have the tone of a John Hughes film

Though truthfully if you're focusing on a young PP/Spidey than it can work but they better strike the right kind of balance or it will alienate a lot of people.

Agree, Molina's Doc Ock does not get enough love.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Me neither. I thought Defoe nailed it and I didn't mind the hockey costume at all.
I still enjoy watching Raimi-Spiderman 1 and 2. Both were great movies IMO.

But why no love for Hobbgoblin in the reboot?
That was the central villain in the comics when I started reading them. Really enjoyed that character.

I'd also be all for a Sinister 6 showdown.

It's okay if they mess it up.
We'll get a reboot 3 months later anyway.

                        Honestly don't know.
I watched most of Amazing 1 and I don't think he was in there.
Never bothered to see Amazing 2.

Not really. Hobgoblin has never appeared in a Spider-Man film. In 3 and in Amazing 2 Harry is the Green Goblin. I know he's Hobgoblin in the Ultimate version, but I don't think that counts lol

You're right, in 3 he's "New Goblin" and in Amazing 2 he's just Green Goblin. I thought Harry was always Hobgoblin. My bad.

But still, that makes 3 out of the 5 Spider-Man movies with a Goblin and 4 of 5 with at least one Osborn. Let's get someone new lol.
