For me it's better than ever, but as I was watching the last episode, and having a sense of what a lot of OS heads want in a show, I was thinking, "I can see OS peeps getting more disillusioned by the second." It is what it is.

I really like the mystery stuff.

Kind of hating the find my daughter storyline. I honestly don't see the point. Maeve had a point but now this is her goal and it's not interesting to me because it distracts from the overall plot.

It feels like a B plot to keep other characters moving. The end of that scene with the Ghost Nation reveal of a similar goal was cool. We need more of that.

I'm all about what's happening with MIB, Bernard and even the Delos reinforcements.

Maeve is killing me.

Was late on this one. Just finished Season 1 last night. My god what a great show. So many layers. I loved it. Man did I miss the whole 3 timeline setup almost until the reveal lol. Usually I'm pretty good at see things but this one had me super confused. Getting ready to start Season 2 soon. Can't wait.


Also CMH that was some Grade A analysis on your part. Loved reading through all your comments (others as well) when I finished watching. Good stuff.

Man did I miss the whole 3 timeline setup almost until the reveal lol.

I was convinced it was a red herring because Jimmi Simpson and Ed Harris look absolutely nothing alike. Jaw, nose, mouth, eyes, forehead, etc. They don't share a single similar facial feature. Maybe that will be explained eventually: in the future/current timeline there's surgery available to make your jawline significantly more attractive.

I feel like there's something to it and in a show about the future it will definitely have something to do with manipulating genes or something.

By the way S2E7 was really good. I was not blown away by Shogun but I really love all of the Bernard scenes.

And I'm completely caught up. This show is as good as ever. I love just how much it makes you think. I've been really paying attention this season and have been pretty proud of myself on not missing much and figuring out what's happening before it happens. It's still scattered obviously but I feel as if I'm getting the stuff they are actually giving. Normally I'm all about the theories and getting analysis right after each episode but I've been staying away from that stuff just to see what I can figure out for myself. Then I'll dive deep once this season is over. I loved the Samurai episode. Everything happening with Bernard is excellent. I really like the Dolores story line as well. Maeve is confusing me to a point because....well.....I can't see the point so far but maybe it'll pay off soon. All in all I am loving this show. Anything that makes me think this much after each episode I'm all for.

I'm still not in love with how Delores has been acting/being portrayed. It doesn't fit her character from season 1. So we're supposed to believe that now that she's sentient, she's a a no morals, kill everything android. I just don't like it. Yet on the other hand, i love the way Maeve has been handled. Her character makes more sense than Delores character.

This season in general, i'm not in love with. They had an uphill battle from the get-go though, season 1 was so fine tuned and suspenseful, it was going to be very hard to try to out do the first season. So far season 2 has been fine, just not as great as the first season to me. The mystery of what's happening isn't as intriguing as the first season.

I'm still enjoying the show, I loved Shogun world, but i'm hoping season 3 does something a bit different.

Dolores isn't Dolores anymore. She's Wyatt.

I think it makes sense when you consider that her coding was changed so she could be awake and play out this new arc.

I also think if you factor in all the horrible things humans have done to her and her associates, can now remember it all, while also having the Wyatt coding, she is acting exactly how she should. Just my two cents though.

I've gone from lukewarm on this show to not really caring. I don't care for the direction the show went this season. I'll probably give S3 a shot but I'm not sure I'll see it through.

It reminds me too much of Lost with the 50 purported timelines and who's a host and who's not and what's happening when and what's real and what isn't. To me, it's a bunch of cheap tricks trying to mask bad storytelling. Not a fan.

I shut off my brain this season, the intrigue doesn't excite me anymore, I'm just along for the ride / FOMO. If next season doesn't grab me I'll do like what I do for some other shows I don't make time for anymore - watch recaps about them instead, lol.

I thought the ending for season 2 was pretty weak, it's almost as if they decided to make everything complicated just for complicated stakes. The first season had a rhyme and rhythm to everything, this season even with being told right off the bat about the multiple timelines, it still felt convoluted and confusing.

The show got up its own butt just because it wanted to keep things confusing. The stinger post credit scene makes no sense, no sense whatsoever. And the worst thing is, that character has run his course, all that stinger did was just show us he'll be in season 3 even though he has no real reason to be.

I loved the first season, but boy season 2 let me down. It definitely had some great episodes like Shogun world. I just feel let down by this season. We waited 2 years and we got an over convoluted story line with no real payoff.

I will say this, the ending being what it was, it opens the door to a very interesting season 3. However knowing how long it’s taken them to design the set for season 2, if they do decide to go “open world” for season 3, it’ll take them double the amount of time to produce one season.

I’m not lukewarm regarding season 3, hopefully it’s much better than season 2.
