That Lair sh*t is CRAZY omg I cannot wait for E3! You cannot tell me that Lair doesn't look GREAT

My computer is slow as hell right now though, I don't feel like downloading Warhawk and Motorstorm. Not really anticipating them though anyway. Maybe I'll rent Motorstorm but I never bought a dirtbike/buggy game or whatever. Cept Smuggler's Run (ah yes the memories)

I wish they could show in game footage, all I have seen were cutsceens, thats isn't doing to much for me.

Its not Sony saying anything, if you look at those videos its pretty clear that what you're watching is GAMEPLAY.

Info from the new PSM.

This month's issue has a preview of the PS3 version of Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway. Some details:

- You control 3 squads, including one with heavy weaponary, bazookas, heavy machine guns etc. that can also call in air strikes

- Online play with custom matchmaking that "automatically generates squads based on skill level", can create your own squad, aiming for 32-players + online

PS3 Online Rumors:

- Your own PS3 will be able to host a blog/bulletin board of sorts, that your buddies will be able to access (remember, always-on, always-connected). You'll be able to put photos and video on this blog, as well as recordings of your best moments from games. Termed as "lifestyle servers".

- PSP will be able to send snapped photos and video to your PS3. PSP can also be used to view friends' video/photos from their PS3 (perhaps via their blog?)

He prolly meant gameplay footage as cutscenes can be "in-game" but not necessarily gameplay footage.

My own feeling is that the cost of the PS3 will be high. But when you look at all the things hardware wise this machine will be able to do it will be must have for myself at some piont. As far as the comments that if the price is too high that it will doom sony to be number two that is wishful thinking by Microsoft. This console is going be around a long time look at the insall base sony has to work with and also the fact that is backwards compatiable. Sony is looking to oush the PS3 to other then hardcore gamers. Should be intersting to see what we learn at E3 about the PS3.

I've bought every Playstation released and if this one is 500.00 or more I won't be getting it, and I'm part of the "base".
Hopefully we'll get a firm price point at E3.

Skyboxer I hear ya man and i'm not a Sony freak but I think at $500 the PS3 is a dam good deal. My one rule justifying the price of a console is I always ask myself. 'how much will it cost me to build a computer that can produce graphics like that?'. It's that simple for me.

An Xbox 360 is less expensive than an ATi X1900XL video card which goes for about $550-600. The same applies for the PS3. So I have no trouble spending $500-$600 for a PS3.

yeah I see what you're saying. I guess for me is the question: Are there enough exclusives that the PS3 will have that I would want? If so I would get one after a while. It will be hard supplying 2 systems with 60.00 games
HOWEVER IF the PS3 is a region free console AND all the Japanese games will play on it then that alone might just warrant a purchase.
